Careful. Honestly, he doesn't actually have to, since it's his site. He can do what he wants when he wants.

Hang on, you're suggesting that they stop working on V2, and further modify this version that seems to be creating problems accross the entire site then restart it just so you can keep your highscores?

Of course he doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to and I don't think GS even said he HAD to. But sometimes its nice to notify us when there is a scheduled maintainance so we are not running around creating topics bugging Psycout and Burn on what the hell is going on. It makes Psycout and Burn job easier and keeps us off thier back at times like this.

eh, i got baby stuff to prepare for right now anyways, so hopefully once the wifey pops this kid out and we got that hectic mess sorted out HMW2 will be up and running and I can jump right back into the fun again!.....I mean since I'm a nihilist I can jump back into hating everything that makes this game so darned fun!

Nothing of the sort! That's why I was suggesting disabling the arena/missions. I wasn't aware that just functioning was a problem. I just wish there had been some notice. It would have been nice to grab a few screenshots.

I do. I want to play. I couldn't really care about a majority of the site, but I'm pretty confident a majority of the HMW players don't use most of the site, so it wouldn't really matter to them. However, since, as I said, it's Ryan's site, so it's his world and his rules and we have to abide by his rulings and decisions if we want to continue using his site. I don't have to like the fact that HMW is down seemingly permanently, I think it deserved a better send off in all honesty, but it is what it is.

The game would be great to keep playing but I greatly respect the decision to leave it off. "Small changes" are those which are always the most risky and as a site, Seibertron's revenue and popularity is not from HMW. Now if BotCon would give awards for "Best Dang Transformers Game" and not just "Best Transformers News Site" that might change...

i feel almost the same way. HMW was the only reason i came here for the longest time. other than that, the usual crew in the forums is the only other thing that keeps me around. Granted there is alot of other good stuff here, but its not WHY i was here. I found this place looking for a Transformers based non forum based rpg. This was the only online multiplayer Transformers game that game up. But again, its His site and he has every right to do things how ever he wants to.

Please forgive my total ignorance to all this and what I'm about to ask. I just started playing HMW about 2 months ago, and am just learning about most of the details of this portion of Seibertron.com. When is HMW2 supposed to come about? and will I be able to transfer my characters? (I don't mind having to relevel them up since thats half the fun.) If someone could answer this or just send me the link with all the details, that would be great. Regardless, I've had a blast playing and have really missed it over the last week. Sorry if I sound like a total idiot.

That's something i didn't even think about. And being on a new pc, with no way to retrieve my files off the other as it's shot, i wouldn't be able to have my one aftermath story to continue on any.

Hey there, welcome to the forums.
HMW2 will be a brand new game written from scratch so your old team data will be untransferable and everyone will need to start again for hopefully the last time. (For some of us this is the 3rd or 4th restart now - you get used to it) When you see the differences in the games you'll realise why.

Nifty but was it designed for HMW characters?

I think if we were to use a wikia of that sort it should ideally be set up for HMW characters only to build up the (for lack of a better term) Continuity of the HMW conflict.

Anybody want to take point on a HMW wiki?

There are some other HMW people on there. Mostly Jeep has a lot of stuff there.

I can look into trying one out since I have a 3 day weekend.
