So was anyone else disappointed that Hound didn't make an appearance in ROTF? seems such a shame that he wasn't included.

that would be cool, I'm hoping they go for a jungle theme so they can include the beast wars characters... platoon with transformers kinda thing, Hound would fit perfectly.

That's my guess. With somany characters in the TF universe, not all can be used in just one, two, or even three movies. In the first movie it was the Autobots that got the majority of the popular characters. This time around the cons got the better character treatment. I think its good that there giving a balance between well, and not so well known characters. It gives something to look forward to in upcoming movies. Think about it...
How crappy would it have been if all the popular characters were used in the first couple films? Then your left bots that nobodies heard of to be in the remainder of the series. Boring.
Decepticons... Com in get yo ice cream!.... And then get yo ass whop'in!!

Re: Wheres the Hound love
It's all going to be a matter of watching the vehicle lines. Is GM going to be able to handle sponsoring the 3rd film? Will other manufacturers be approached about the use of their vehicles or does GM have an exclusive deal? I know that a Ford was one of the first Movies big stars but he was something of a special release.
We can hope they all we want but if the auto industry doesn't turn around then TF3 will be a bunch of Segway scooters kicking the crap out of each other with a 16 year old (19 when the movie comes out)Peterbilt and a CG tank leading the factions.
Not that I wouldn't pay money to see that, it would be funny as hell for the first few minutes, but it doesn't make for the most epic of battles.
Since Jeep was a division of DaimlerChrysler, I think we would be better off looking to Toyota to provide a suitable alt mode for Hound if he's going to be in TF3. Either that or wait and see what the new company that owns Hummer has in store for their product line.
I will agree that I think Hound needs to be in the next Movie. So does Wheeljack and possibly Mirage.

Not a Toyota! I don't care what the others look like, but Hound has to be a Jeep of some sort! Not that I'm biased or anything *scoots away slowly*

Re: Wheres the Hound love
You have the same rig that my ex-wife picked up recently (I've seen pics of yours) only hers is Silver with the gold trim.
I think Hound should ALWAYS be some sort of Jeep. I actually thought Brawn being a Jeep Liberty (to keep with the "mini-car" calssification) would have been a cool touch.
This will be something to keep our eyes on because I recall others outside of this thread having expressed a desire to see Hound in this series.
