actually, only seven of the thirteen were primes, he can be alpha trion

anyway, if you read the comics youl notice that most plot "holes" were "fixed"
the nemesis was the ship that the decepticons used to seek the allspark and megatron, megatron its one of the few cybertornians that can travel in the space freely, the protoforms are actually "entry" modes, not actuall transport, something showld have happen to the ship (i think its the ark) from the trailer, for that sector 7 knew nothing, it is not shockwave, we already have his silluete, and face, son he is not, actually the only inconsistence i remember form the movies(with the help of the comics) its that they forgot the battle in the city, and some autobots that apeared from anywhere, thats it

based on the fact most the characters we've already seen have very little resemblance to their G1 selves (except for Optimus) what makes anyone think it's ging to be any of the old mustachioed g1ers, the way the character designs of the past 2 movies have been, he could be anyone from Grimlock to Elita-1.

then again, that is the most g1 looking face i've seen on any of the bayformers so far

LOL, funny stuff.

I'm actually impressed we actually got a whole trailer verses the mars rover viral vid we were fed for the first film.

The head design, regardless of who it is, is alot cleaner then previous designs, so I'm happy about that. I'm thinking this is a autobot ship. hence carrying autobots which may justify it as the Ark....so the bot inside could be an autobot....though I think it looks closest to Wreck Gar, which may insight the ever inevitable and mostly wanted/unwanted presence of Unicron in some shape or form in this film. Either way, I'm just glad this bot looks like a humanoid and not some bug or fish looking thing....I am curious of all the other offline bots, though when I saw a good closeup of one it looked like a recycled model of the Nemesis Bots from ROTF.

What if it's not a Prime? Maybe it's a seeker, who didn't reach the Earth. 'Cause according to what wheelie said, The Seekers were the "Oldest of the old" and he seems PRETTY old.

As i already said somewhere else here, and some others might have said too, the ones who sacrificed themselves, were the SEVEN PRIMES OF THE PRIME DYNASTY. There might have been some OTHER Primes, who weren't IN the DYNASTY. Also, some of the Primes might have had a (secret)child of some kind that nobody knew about. That's not so unusual, and since the Cybertronians are much like humans, then...

I mean, it's all a possibility.

Honestly, if you think about it, maybe Sentinel was offline but came back ONLINE, and The Fallen may have not detected him through some mishap.

My first assumption was GANDALF, yes I know, but then I heard the Alpha Trion thing, and now I'm stuck between Alpha and Sentinel.

I want to lean more toward Vector Prime, just due to the shoulder design, but more than likely Sentinel due to the gold color. I see no problem with it being a prime, just as Red 50 said above there had to be more primes than the ones that fused together in ROTF because Optimus didnt know who The Fallen was, hence that had to be long before his time. Jetfire even referred to Optimus as a descendant of the primes so somewhere this 'prime' gene got passed along. That being said The Fallen could have had his minions 'seeking' out all the prime offspring and shot down that ship above Earth and everyone went into a stasis intentionally or not and fooling their decepticon pursuers. Not hard for me to believe, seems to me a herald of Unicron that can only be killed by a prime would want his minions to kill all the primes, it also wouldn't surprise me that a decepticon might be cocky and report a downed ship as destruction of all passengers.

I also strongly support that the whole space race started by president Kennedy was so that the russians would not discover alien life on the moon first, under the guidance of sector 7 who already had Megatron in their grips. They were definatly there on a mission, the teaser implies that, so either all of nasa or a small part were privy to the secretive organization. That could also play into the assassination of Kennedy, he knew about S7.....hey it could be a fun conspiracy thing to throw in.

But my best guesses would be Sentinel Prime, Alpha Trion, or Vector Prime. We'll just have to wait and see.

My guess is that he´s Alpha Trion who´s been stasis-locked for eons.(or his corpse which hold vital information collected in his databank.)

But it wasnt just 1 guy that said it.

The ghost of the Primes themselfs said that there were no others left.

Now, I wouldnt put it past Bay to say this guys a Prime.But if thats the case it creates a plot issue with the series.
