Do something REALLY different instead of a different take on G1 each time.
While that's a cool idea (I'd love it) I do believe that Hasbro will stick to their formula. I guess 1986 was a scary year for Hasbro.
Yeah it seems like when Hasbro's got it's mind made up,their really stuburn about it. they don't budge.
Honestly the only way veteran TF fans get their TF wish list filled. is when Takara goes ROGUE & does TF stuff on their own. like those masterpiece TF toys & other TF side projects they do from time to time.
Come to think about it, Takara is the more experimental party. In terms of toys and show ideas.
-edit-
Hasbro does listen to older fans and fill our lists. Look at CHURUG (we need a better word for this, people). Takara is just more diverse, models, 'candy' toys, crossovers, kits and so on...
their is honestly no way to know which company is responsible for CHURUG. Hasbro & takara might be 50/50 on it. or one company might be taking the lead a bit more.
I'm gonna guess that CHURUG was takara's idea & takara keeps pushing the envelope to create more new molds.
From my guesses,All hasbro likes to create these days is ugly movie styled TF toys. or playschool styled animated/TF Prime toys.
