Trying to keep the thread alive, thought I'd throw a question out there.

To those who love the original Seekers, how do you feel about the coneheads?

Personally, I always found the three of them very threatening. In Megatron's Master Plan in particular when Thrust went to hunt down Chip, and Dirge was busy carving up the city I was very scared of them.

That in a way has carried over into my current view on them. In the way I always saw Thundercracker and Skywarp as having a brotherly camaraderie, I see Thrust, Dirge, and Ramjet as being vicious yet united by their desire to replace Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp as Megatron's favoured lieutenants. Hostile factions within a faction vying for the power of status.

So, coneheads anyone? Like them, hate them, love them, or flee in terror? How do you think they fit into the grand scheme of things?

Classics treatment to the coneheads, as evident in Ramjet, is surprisingly good. I like it.

I like Dirge's "Death shall be his reward for such bravery" style attitude. Though I love the way Ramjet slams headfirst into everything.

But why did Thrust change his face from white to Black after the movie? That always confused me. I know there were animation errors and whatnot, but this seemed deliberate.

The classic coneheads (or at least Ramjet) is a great figure, although I prefer the flathead seeker mould for alt. The nosecone is longer and slimmer, the way a fighter jet nose should be, not stumpy.

After just seeing Tramp and Damolisher argue again. I just had to post it.

Those two should have their own seperate forum.

Thundercracker= He's ok.
Starscream= Whiny man-girl.

I haven't really know much bout the coneheads, so I can't say much about em.

Cept that Thrust looks the coolest of all.

I like the coneheads, they seem more with it than the origional seekers, and more visious, and who dosnt love Ramjet? Come on now, he's ace.

I love the seekers. Thundercracker is my favorite Decepticon ever! I love his coloration, and dedication to his cause.

I like the original 3 from G1 as well. My favorite of the three is Starscream as he is so funny. However, the cutest one IMO was Thundercracker.

did I tell you guys at Target today I found a Sunstorm and Starscream war within G1 action figure it was sooooooooooo hard to choose which one to buy cause I only brought 20 bucks with me :sad:
