Come on, you know I'm comparing him to other Primes. 8)

Megatron will always be slightly more powerful, whether or not Prime is strong or weak.

But previous Primes are almost always stronger than Megatron.

Really? I didn't get that idea, but I after watching Cybertron, I guess... blargh. Just a big Autobot victory fest to me.

what I'm asserting is that movie Megs and Prime are more powerful and impressive than what many people give them credit for.

If anyone's watched Gundam Seed Destiny, they'll know what I'm talking about when it comes to good guys being overwhelmingly powerful to the point that the story's not interesting. Really - overpowered good guys lead to bad storytelling. Cybertron suffered the same thing, although not to the same extent. Come on - Vector Prime, a time-travelling Autobot? Primus, God of Transformers?? The five planet leaders, who are all Autobots? Lori and Koby? :P

Then you have a very shallow relationship with the material you're a fan of.

{Sigh}

I'll make it easy for you. I won't ever make a post addressed to you, or respond to you in any way whatsoever on this board again, since I have a "shallow relationship" with Transformers and you're a much better fan than me, possibly even one of the fabled "True Fans."

I wish this board had an ignore feature.

I wouldn't put it THAT harshly, but I actually somewhat agree. Seeing as you're not Michael Bay, you're not going to get things exactly the way you want them. Times change, and stuff changes with them. The coloration is the same. Only the patterning is different.

Optimus Prime is Optimus Prime, flames or not. And he's still the awesomest truck in existence.

'New packaging, same product', as they say.

Big ol' truck? Check.
Red and blue coloration? Check.
Peter Cullen's voice? Check.
Leading the Autobots? Check.
Nobility and awesomeness? Check.
Life can be pretty sweet when your alt-mode is a B-2 Stealth Bomber.

And for those of you who are wondering... I'M A GIRL!

I'm not prejudiced; I hate everyone equally.

I'd go so far as to argue he is the most powerful and most experience Prime so far.

His flames are a nice touch. Makes him unique alongside other memorable Primes like Cybertron Prime and G1 Prime.

Alright, i'm sick of seeing this.

There's nothing wrong with a person still living with their parents. The whole "nerds live in their mothers basement" is pathetic.

Here's a bit of reality. I'm 30 years old and still live with my parents.

It's NOT because i'm some introverted nerd who can't speak to girls or am so ugly to go out in public.

It's purely a financial reason. My job (full time, 38 hours a week) is enough to pay the bills I have, rental prices where I live are ridiculous and are no doubt set to rise even more with the local council raising their rates.

So please, quit presuming that those who live with their parents do so because their introverted social rejects. Because quite frankly, even if they are introverted social rejects, it beats being a loud mouthed judgmental prat.

Actually I thought the first statement was kinda funny. Only cuz I do rent my mom's basement with my wife and newborn, meaning I've not only spoke to a girl but I, you know, heh heh 8) . But I'm in your same boat Burn, rent out here is sky high, and it is a financial convenience at the present time. And I do think this pop-shot has lost a bit of it's meaning since there are more and more people in this very same situation.

Remember, not all who share the same dwelling with there folks are socially inept. :PEACE:
