He's super posable, and looks the part to a T!! Excited to give him some attention.

Wrist swivels first, double jointed elbows, then bicep swivel , forearm swivel, waist swivel with legs (same order) and feet/anlkes last. I feel the upper body is where the personality in poses really come from.

I find static feet to stand just as well as swively ones.

While i agree with most of that, the articulation that is a deal breaker to me is any figure which lack thigh swivel. That si so crucial to me you have no idea. A lack of it kills any chance at dynamic poses.

Wait. You think TR Soundy is better than MP Soundy?

I love the TR Tape mold, but one thing really irks me. The waist. When you transform them, they're left with a couple glaring gaps. Would it have killed them to add a couple pieces to flip out and cover that up? :(

I like mp Soundwave so much more. I was just saying that this toy still does some stuff right in comparison, but it is a very far cry none the less.

I would say something about mixed media or xenophobia, but what I really want to know is what kind of champagne is that :-?

I will say that in that last pick Soundwave isn't the only one out of place ;)

I pulled a complete 180 on the recent Dino Charge Power Ranger line. I always liked Power Rangers as a kid but never got the toys (my Dad thought it could send me down the wrong path where I would be older with an addiction to toys ... I guess nature, um, finds a way).

Anyways, I didnt like these at first since they were all parts formers. I knew there would be some of it, but not ALL of it. So I was gonna return them. But I really like giant robots that turn into Dinosaurs (most only know me by that very image) and the colours looked good and these were some cool dinos that Transformers rarely does right (Plesosaurs and Pteranodon). And I realizes that I could basically transform most of the Pteranodon with only partforming one part. As I will detail below.

So here is a straight up series of pictures showing just how much of this toy is straigt up transforming and partsforming. This is the Pteranozord (on the right):

And if you dont like the visible head, it can simply be removed.

Also, these have a combiner gimick where you can switch up any part of it.

And you can even switch out the head and give him the Super Head (aka combiner head):

Now here is the Plesiozord:

Cool. There's nothing wrong with the way Zords transform. It's just different. A lot easier for a 6 year old. That's for sure.

Those two are neat looking!

Yeah there is very little evolution. These are all a lot like the old school riverside. There have been changes though, like now you can interchange limbs ala CW style.

You know, I really want to like this mold and astrotrain, but that camel toe just cannot be unseen.

The train mode reminds me of the train stages in classic shoot em up type games but doesnt do it for me. I do like the shuttle mode.

I hope to run into AT in the wild to get me a good hands on vibe from him.

I lost my reciept for Astrotrain and Alpha Trion so I will not be able to do my raincheck switcheroo when TRU get them, meaning these two toys will be the first Hasbro voyagers I have ever bought full price since Rhinox and Springer (and even then I forget how much I paid for those, might have been discounted). But thats ok. I cashed in a profit of $3000 on the stock market today so I see it as balancing out my bad luck of losing the receipt ;)

Ah, the Ocarina of Time 3D. A wonderful remaster! I remember when I had that A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL, it was my upgrade from my Ocarina of Time 3D Special Edition 3DS!!

Now I have the *new* 3DS XL in Cosmo Black with a Legend of Zelda coverplate and a battery cover from the *new* 3DS XL Majora's Mask Special Edition

wow, that is some intense Zelda love. This is the first time I am playing Zelda games. I played a link between worlds (excellent!), then Majora's Mask (not straightforward at all) and now Ocarina of Time (no **** that wasnt straight forward, all the mechanics are explained in this game first, I feel dumb now).

Anyways, while I get why Ocarina of time was liked so much back in the day, playing it after the ones that came after makes it my least favourite. It has a very frustrating dungeon system where you go down a long path adn need a key, so you have to double back to get it. Then when you get it, you go back open the door only to ealize you need another key. And now you have to go back again. And it keeps happening!

I much preffer the winding dungeons of Majora.

Of course, I think Zelda excels at the 2D dungeons though, I can deal with that stupid floating hand much better.

I like all the backtracking in the dungeons. Its part of what works for me in these types of games. I'd be disappointed to cruise down a long hallway, picking up the keys and items that I needed to progress along the way. I know its game design to pad out the dungeon and give the player a false sense of discovery and exploration, but I wouldnt have it any other way. Im ok with suspending my disbelief for a little while. Lie to me video games. I subscribe to escapism.

If I created a dungeon to hide valuables in; I'd design it in a way to wear out would be intruders and prevent them from getting through. So in that regard I feel they have exceeed. I thought I read that the water temple in OoT was hard or frustrating, but I cruised though it with no problems. Or am I thinking of one of the Wii Zeldas?

I've also been enjoying my time with OoT (which is the second playthough after playing on the 64). The 3ds remake is so good it's almost like a new game. I should probably track down majora when I'm finished with OoT.

I put in a few hours in the first Zelda the other day and found it quite satisfying. It's very much an open world game with little direction to guide the player. You have to just push your own limits to find your way.

I fired up Zelda II today on the classic NES. It's a game I never really played much of. It's way out the box for a Zelda game but has touches of Metroid and RPGs spread on a 2D platforming frame. The music is amazing and once I push past the frustrating difficulties I think it could be quite an enjoyable ride.

If I had to pick only one series to play for the rest of my life, it'd be Zelda. If I had to pick only one game, it'd be LoZ:LttP. Hands down, no hesitation no ragrets! :michaelbay:
