Fellow Seibertronians, a twitter post by Kusuhara (@ X_hara) reveals a Metalhawk resin kit being offered in limited numbers at Winter Wonderfest 2016. Since this is a Wonderfest figure, it is fully licensed - but only when sold at the Wonderfest.

Really nice for an (expensive) quirky model-kit. Good fun.
I wouldn't buy it as a general release, though. Too many flaws for it to be a retail release.

I really wish there were an easier way to get these transforming garage kits. I know that recasters do exist and are generally considered acceptable by most GK makers, but I still feel uneasy about it.
