I really like it too. Since so many people are screaming for a new megatron MP I fear if we don't scoop this up while we can it may be another Quakewave situation as far as price goes.

I'm not sure I like how everything separates on a bunch of metal rods and reassembles. At that point, might as well make Megatron a partsformer.

I wouldnt go that far, but I do agree he's not as bad as some are making out, I think the main area of concern is those diecast rods the arms are connected too, it all looks a little delicate, having said that I cant think of any other way of getting the arms where they need to be, so yeah complicated and fiddly but only because in needs to be.

Dear Fans and Retailers:
We've had a discussion regarding issues that have popped up with production sample reviews. We will address the elbow sliding mechanism and the bicep swivel at the factory before we ship to our retailers. The problem has been solved. Additionally, we'll include another set of tighter fitting ball sockets for the shoulders. All arms are able to hold the canon up without any issue but some arms seem loose holding it outward. If this is your experience, the replaceable sockets will fix that issue. We'll also include a small adapter for the extension canon's secondary mode. Finally, we'll include a small screwdriver with each figure for accessing the battery chamber and in case you need to replace the shoulder sockets. Apollyon will ship from our factory the last week of April. Your retailers should have them by early May. Thank you all for your patience, support and feedback. And thank you to the reviewers for their valuable input.

Hel yeah! I watched the reviews but skipped the part where they transform the toy because I didnt want to be too spoiled. And he doesnt look anywhere near as fiddly as MP 05 or even Windblade

Damn, that transformation looks like a hell of a lot of fun.

I wouldn't mind an unpainted version of that, just to fiddle about with, without having to feel guilty for wearing it out and stressing the paint.
That transformation looks even more fun than MP05's, and damn do love transforming that guy.

It's admirable how much effort and care they're putting in to this figure and trying to put a great product out there!

Nope, I genuinely love MP05's transformation. I see the problems the toy itself has, but I've always loved that fiddly transformation. It was scary at first, but after having gone through it three times for a review, I got feel for it and started loving it.
My favorite part is aligning all the panels in his legs to get him into gun-mode. The only reason why I don't transform him on a regular basis is that I'm scared of wearing it out and ruining the paint on him.

If the recent unpainted samples hadn't been so expensive, I would have gotten myself one just to fiddle with it. It's so satisfying.

Still plan to buy this toy. Impressed with X-T'S last minute final QC at the factory.

Do not think it's a easy task to create a toy like this. By my record Takara failed with their MP-05 attempt. Think X-T will succeed where takara Didn't.

Looking at the pics and now videos. Think this toy looks very bulky, sturdy, high quality and well made.

It sure is, because many of their previous products did not have much QC. I know a lot of people are burned by previous purchases. I feel a lot more comfortable now that these additional issues are being addressed. I've been patiently awaiting this figure.

I looked at him today and he fell over. Maybe I shouldn't have moved him beforehand.

I'm still in on this guy. And kudos to XT for acknowledging the issues and supplying us fixes! So just over a month from know we should have him in hand?! Yeaaaaaah buddy!! :grin:
