All of the reviewers, so far, have agreed that it's fiddly and scary the first time, but each time is much easier and it's definitely easier than MP-05.

Ok so I imagine that following the instructions for the first time you transform him is strongly advised?
ambitron wrote:The instructions are being fixed for the final version (I was contacted by the person responsible for the instructions earlier). There are actually three parts in the instructions that are currently the wrong way around, and which would cause breakages if you followed them - but as I say, the instructions are being updated based on testing, I'm told.
But yes, it does get easier each time you transform it. The first time around it is a little hair-raising; after that, you start to get an appreciation for how clever it is, and it becomes less scary.
Also, on the foot hinge that broke on my sample: I'm told that this hasn't happened on any of the other samples. Also, seeing as the foot flap is entirely cosmetic and I don't mind breaking the one on the other foot since that would be symmetrical, I tested out bending up the flap on the other one and applying quite a lot of pressure against the hinge - it was absolute fine. So it looks as though I just had a duff piece on my sample. (Although I wouldn't recommend treating any of the pieces roughly, of course.)
That's awesome that they are still moving forward on QC, even if it's just the instructions! Really hoping my funds clear up so I can get this guy!william-james88 wrote:Yes! I just wanted to say how much I am appreciative of you guys taking the time to come on these boards and reassure us fans. I feel very lucky and privileged to have you reviewers amongst us. Thanks a BUNCH!
