Celerity is an ubiquitous Transformer. Racecars are popular with so many because of their liberating speed. Celerity is no different, with the possible exception of color. He is young, but already aware of the difficulties and trials in life - an awareness reflected in the black paint with midnight blue stripes running down each side from fender to fender. Celerity will sometimes discuss his past if he is in the right mood, but it is wise to let him bring it up. Pressing for his history is what the Shadren team calls a V.V.B.I. (Very, Very Bad Idea).
The only comment Cdr. Ransom has made to her subordinates about Celerity's past (before Celerity truly came onboard) is this: "It is quite possible Celerity chose the racecar in the hope of outdistancing his past."
Note: Alacrity of Team Plenary is Celerity's fraternal twin. (Celerity is older.)
