[Profile] After The Wing'd Dragon of Ra departed with Feral Convoy and his StarDust Crusaders, Invidia Prima began searching for a replacement for the Egyptian Dæmigod. Locating and breaching long forgotten arcane seals, the being known as Samhain 'The Great Pumpkin' was brought online.
Samhain is a powerful and special dæmon of The Void & is considered by many of Cybertronian mystics to be one of the mythical Binary Seals. It is believed that Samhain is one of the oldest dæmoms in existence, created before the time of the Knights of Primus. When The Fallen's cage was created, the Knights of Primus made the summoning of Samhain one of the mythical Binary Seals.
Samhain was worshiped as the god of All Hallows Eve by the ancient Celts of Earth. When Samhain reigned on Earth, on what is now known as Halloween, the Earth people kept their children indoors. They wore masks to hide from him, carved faces into pumpkins to worship him, and left sweets at their doors to appease him. He was exorcised centuries ago by an Unknown Party. Ref ID: 89637
Also known as The Great Pumpkin, an unseen character in Peanuts Universe. According to a Terran by the name of Linus van Pelt, The Great Pumpkin is a legendary personality who rises from the pumpkin patch on Halloween carrying a large bag of toys to deliver to believing children (although this seems to have been a misinterpretation of the spark gathering ritual needed to summon this elder dæmon, known as 'the great pump-&-kiln'). The Great Pumpkin can only rise when summoned by two powerful Technomages, through three spark sacrifices over three solar cycles, with the that last spark on the last solar cycle on the final harvest, on the final arc on All Hallows Eve. [Abilities] An incredibly powerful dæmon able to raise sparkless ghosts, zombies and ghouls upon other creatures into the realm he was summoned, who displays multiple rare abilities as well as abilities unique to himself:
+ Necromancy/Summoning/Reanimation: Ability to summon creatures without the need of an external power source; to turn nearby sparkless corpses into zombies and bend them to his will. The longer Samhain is free, the more dangerous monsters he can summon + Advanced Immunity: Being one of the most powerful and ancient dæmons, has a great amount of immunity. This ancient dæmon is immune to Iron (Fe), Sodium (Na), Chlorine (Cl) and other such elements. + Immortality/Invulnerability: Although Samhain's exact age is unknown, this being is at least over sixty six million Vorns old and it is implied that he is from a time before Primus. Cannot be stasis locked by conventional methods or weapons. + Photokinesis: Has the power to emit a fiery 'Atomic' blast of white light that could destroy anything in its path. He was one of only two dæmons known to have the ability. + Possession: Can use the corpses of any sparkless Cybertronian as vessel for own preternatural spark. + Super Strength: Able to throw the most dense beings with great force and minimal effort. + Astral Perception: Can perceive the true form of any being. + Flight: In his true dæmonic energy form, Samhain is able to fly.
The only other dæmon who has been rumored to be a seal was Lilith. Ref ID: 88090.
[Weakness] + Exorcism: For being a more powerful dæmon, being exorcised has a greater affect on Samhain as he can only be summoned once every 666 Vorns. + Partial Blindness: Unusual for a dæmon, Samhain's optics are impaired, causing him to visualize the physical world blurred. + Metallikato Strike: This is the only known form of attack to cause Samhain pain.
