About The Omnicron Myriad [RDD]

The Omnicron Myriad was founded by Coldchain, who believes that the only true measure of a being is their ability to survive through either superior skill, speed or strength of arms

Coldchain and his nearly identical comrade, Burnchain, were initially created as a pair of couriers. When conflict began they worked as double agents and, when they were eventually exposed, they operated as forward reconnaissance for the Grand Decepticon Army. During their time in the Decepticon Army Coldchain encountered many like minded Con's who believed that those who failed to survive deserved death.

They all agreed that the Civil War was an opportunity to purge the weak from the universe and found a new order, fulfilling their vision of a reborn, powerful Cybertron, glorified for its strength and dominance over the lesser Planets and Races.

The aggressive policies of Megatron suited their plans, but they steadily grew disillusioned with his grand boasts but small successes. Leaving the Decepticons main forces The Myriad struck out on their own, capturing and "judging" many. Their farcical court gained them notoriety and the attention of the Renegade Decepticon Dissidents. The Dissidents approached them and overawed them with their displays of power. The Myriad pleaded with them and were allowed to join the Dissidents, for this group would surely have the strength to bring about the New Way of Strength and Glory without the crippling compassion of Old Cybertron and the pathetic Autobots

During their service to the RDD the Myriad encountered a depraved group of Decepticons going by the name "WarPorn Industries" After seeing the effectiveness of their leader Psychout's machinations they decided that should ever the RDD fail they would continue to aid his schemes. In return for this loyalty Psychout grants them access to Mal Practice's expertise (and the remote on weekends)

During their battles on behalf of the RDD, the Myriad encountered an alliance of Decepticons who shared the name [STEEL CITY] in honour of their homeland, an unlikely accord grew up between the two groups and for a time the Myriad actively sought to aid the Steel City warriors where they could and for a short while took the name in respect and solidarity for these warriors.
