I´ve been getting eye-witness reports that Starscream´s listed in CANADIAN TRU computers at the price of 29.99. This, of course, is interesting as Transformers.com has the figure listed at 34.99 US.
Of course, Transformers.com has never been all that reliable. Heck, they don´t even have correct pictures up of their G1 reissues...
If this is correct, the figure may turn out costing only about 25 at US TRU stores. Which, as we all know, seems much more reasonable.

E-Hobby has it´s New Year Special Edition TFs listed as Deep Cover and Clamp Down. It has been rumoured that this will be a set containing black and police variations of Sideswipe. And no, the "police variation" is not Red Alert. The set is said to go on sale November 25th with a cost of 6000yen (+shipping & taxes). Thanks to Dave and ZacWilliam for sharing the info on the alt.toys.transformers newsgroup.

As I´m sure you´ve all heard, Unicron is scheduled to make his plastic debut in June. This, of course, begs several questions. Such as...
Is it going to be an exclusive? If so where?
There´s no information at ALL on that right now. If Unicron´s going to be in the series, he´ll probably get a fairly wide release. If it´s just a non-show character he could easily end up as an exclusive.
This brings up another question, "Is he going to be in the show/comic?"
That information´s just not available yet. At Botcon this year, when asked about Unicron, a rep said that they were going to do a figure, but they didn´t know when. If he´s in the show, then the Hasbro rep would probably have known. Unless it was supposed to remain a secret. I´ll have more on this when it becomes available.
What does it look like?
That´s a mystery. The Hasbro designer (the one of the DVD) says that it WON´T be the BW:NEO mold. So that leaves one of the original TFTM molds or a completely NEW mold. We´ll just have to wait and see...
How big is it?
The prototype seems to be a little over one foot tall. This could easily be changed during the production. However with a price near $70 USD, it would have to be fairly large. HOWEVER, Hasbro reps say it WON´T be the Takara version.
All of this info is pure speculation at this point. I hope to have more answers in the next few days.

BWBMTransformers.com has found this interesting pre-order on an
Armada Unicron on
Entertainment Earth. Will we see Unicron in the Armada cartoon? Or will this guy be simply a non-show character? Regardless, if this order is not a mistake, we´re in for the 1st official transformable Unicron toy in the entire Transformers toy history!

EDIT! It has been brought to my attention that the seller of all these rare items is, in fact, the infamous ´Godraven´ using a new name. You may remember Godraven as the perpetuator of the ´black God Ginrai scam´
A truly rare find, an Artfire (a real one, not a knockoff) is on ebay. What makes this especially rare is the Buy It Now option. For a mere 500 dollars, this extremely rare Transformer can be in your home before the week is out.
Just go to Ebay and Search ´Artfire´
Also, be sure to check the seller´s other auctions. If you´ve got some extra money to spend of TFs, now would be the time to do it.

Three more G1 characters have apparently been spotted in Toys R Us computers. The characters are Jazz, Thundercracker, and a character called ´Silverstreak´.
All three are priced at 29.99 but this is most likely the canadian price. Figure the US ones will set you back about 20 bucks a piece.
As for Silverstreak, it´ll most likely be the normal Bluestreak figure. As most of you know the original Bluestreak figure was, in fact, silver.
Smooth Note: Wouldn´t it be funny, if in all their infinate wisdom, Hasbro actually painted their ´Silverstreak´ figure blue?
More as it becomes available.

Thanks to the November Previews for this:
Dreamwave will be releasing the six-issue G1 mini-series in 3 different hardcover formats.
for 49.99 you get the entire G1 mini-series plus a couple of extra pages of sketches in a handsome hardcover format.
for 89.99 you get all of the above, but with 2 signatures Pat Lee and Chris Sarracini.
for 199.99 you get all of the above plus a hand drawn dreamwave transformers sketch.
Smooth Note: This is major kick in the bearings for completists.

A fan in Hong Kong has apparently snagged some repainted RiD Decepticons. They are painted in ´arctic camo´ colors. The fan says that the store he aquired them from gets test shots like this fairly often. Hopefully I´ll have some pics up soon. These may just be more knockoffs, but the pictures do show them with Decepticon logo on them.

Several sources, including
Professor Smooth´s Rumors Page and other TF websites, are reporting that the Beast Machines Dinobots (repaints from the US and Japanese Beast Wars toy lines) might have life breathed into their molds once more - this time as repaints in the Robots In Disguise carry over line. Stay tuned for further details ...
