USAopoly has sent has a new image of their upcoming licensed Transformers edition of Monopoly. As you can see from the image below, it is clearly a G1-based game which makes heavy use of the Dreamwave artwork from the past few years. It also looks like the game pieces are the following characters: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Jazz (?) and Bumblebee (?).
UPDATE: I just received a 2nd email from USAopoly confirming that this game will be available at specialty shops at the end of April. Specialty shops include stores such as Spencer Gifts or other similar stores or game stores (like the ones in U.S. shopping malls).

Our own ZoneDaiatlas has brought some awesome news to our attention.
GameSpot.com has reported news about who will be doing the voices for Optimus Prime and Megatron in the
Transformers Movie video game. Some fans were not happy that Frank Welker would not voice Megatron in the
Transformers Movie, however, he will be voicing the character in the game! If that is not enough, Peter Cullen who will voice Optimus Prime in the movie will also provide Prime's voice in the video game. To learn more and to here Welker do Megatron's voice click

As
reported earlier,
CVG had an early look at the computer game based on the upcoming
Transformers Movie. Their report was not completely positive. In response to that,
Activision took the time to
defend themselves and the game to CVG, showing that they fully stand behind the project they are still developing.
"
We're really disappointed you guys didn't get an accurate impression of what Transformers: The Game is all about and the direction in which we're headed. A work in progress system was shown that we finished putting together in the early hours of that morning specifically for a first-look presentation".
"
The game is still in development and we're on course to deliver the game Transformers fans are hoping for. The new few weeks will see the game systems integrated and balanced, and we're really looking forward to bringing it out to show you guys once this process is complete!".
