Generations Selects Galvatron is now out in the west and east hemisphere. He was found in a Hong Kong Toysrus at the beginning of September for $519HK (66 USD) and has been shipping out from EB Gamestop Canada this week with people getting him in hand. Prime vs Prime and Chefatron have reviews up of the toy where we get a good look at the finished product and we see that it comes with the shoulders fixed. This is very good news since this toy comes in a brown box where you would not be able to see the shoulders before purchasing. So it seems Hasbro fixed their mistake in later runs of the original toy and in the rest of the uses going forward.
While the Transformers Generations Selects line is not exclusive for the most part, it is still tricky to find. Toysrus usually does stock them but it is not consistent and there is a bug in their system where if an order is not filled after a certain amount of time, the order will be cancelled automatically. This lead to cancellations of all preorders for G2 Ramjet in Canada from Toysrus and the store is currently doing a workaround where they will call people who preordered when the product comes in. But it's a wonky work around and not everyone has their Ramjets. BUT EB Games, which also had preorders, seems to have quite a few Ramjets to spare and the toy can currently be found in their stores ready for purchase by anyone. The price is $45 CAD but $40 with a platinum Edge card (so $32 USD). The one pictured below was found in the Montreal area and there were 8 available copies in store.
While a lot of Canadians are waiting for a Origins Bumblebee to arrive at Toysrus, we have other Buzzworthy Bumblebee toys that arrived before it. That being the 3 two packs which Hasbro still has not revealed, we don't even have stock photos of these. They are Bumblebee vs Dropkick, Bumblebee vs Stinger and Bumblebee vs Barricade. All three have Bumblebee in the body he had when he first met these antagonists. This was sighted by me at a Toysrus in Montreal, Qc.
Winners is kicking it up a notch with Transformers. We had reported on Skylynx and now they have Generations Selects deluxe Hot House. That toy is priced at $20 CAD (about $15 USD). Generations selects toys are rarely seen at retail so finding one at a Market Six store like Winners (Canada's TJMaxx) was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
Many fans have been posting images of the barren Transformers section of their local Target. Even if there are no toys one may be specifically looking for, it's nice to know there are some toys of our favourite brand around for anyone who may want some, be it kids or collectors. Well, it seems Target is in full swing for restocking their Transformers section. Right now, the latest Transformers toys being released by Hasbro are all from the new Dinobots Unite subline of their Cyberverse line. While that means it is mostly for kids with many reissues from the previous year(s), there are some items that fans of any age might like. For instance, deluxe Cheetor is being found on shelves now. We also have wave 5 of the Tiny Turbo Changers. Wave 5 is all repacks but it helps fans get another chance at characters they may have missed in the past since the distribution of these toys was pretty rough for people.
Any restocking is good news, so we wanted to share that with you. You'll let us know if your local Target is getting restocked too and if you are picking up any of these new toys.
The image below is from a Target in Costa Mesa, California, and was taken by Shark Jumper who posted it on the TFW2005 boards.
Canada is currently playing catchup to the US in terms of recent toy sightings. The Kingdom wave 3 deluxes were found at Walmart along with the wave 3 RED figures. Toysrus is calling folks who preordered Kingdom Rodimus for pickup and EB Games is doing the same with the Autobot Ark. Speaking of the Autobot Ark, it is currently being offered for $190 CAD on Amazon.ca, with a delivery date of October 5. This is cheaper than all other retailers who offer it for upwards of $225 CAD.
Also available online right now for Canadians is Generetions Selects Transmutate which can be purchased right now for $34 on Toysrus.ca.
And EB Games recieved the latest wave of Studio Series voyagers including Wreck Gar and Thrust.
We have another previously unannounced toy now found at retail (always a fun surprise). This is from the Cyberverse line, which Hasbro does not promote. It Ramjet, which is a new entry into the ultra Energon Armour class. These are voyageur-ish height and simple enough for 6 year olds. The energon armour on this one is rather interesting since it looks like Divebomb. This toy comes with two gun accessories.
BattkeUpSaber found it at a Takashimaya store in Singapore.

It has been a while that Canadians had something worthwhile to find at Winners, the Canadian version of TJ Maxx. However, a lot of Hasbro products can now be found at deep discounts.
These include:
Marvel Legends Storm for 9.99$ (8 USD)
Earthrise Skylynx for 49.99$ (40 USD)
Cyberverse Seeker 4 pack for 29.99$ (23.75 USD)
Ollie's has gotten their hands on a few waves of last year's Studio Series deluxe toys. They are selling them half price, so at $10. This brings us back to the glory days of $10 deluxes but with today's greater parts count. Some of the toys found so far include Roadbuster, Soundwave, Hot Rod and the Arcee Sisters.
They also have Earthrise Snap Dragon for $15.99.
Let us know what else you find.
We have news that the Transformers Cyberverse Dinobots Unite Slugtron and Bumbleswoop combiners have been found at US retail. Thlinux found them at a local Walmart in Pooler, GA. The Slugtron set comes with Dinobot Slug and Megatron while the Bumbleswoop set comes with Swoop and BUmblebee. We have already seen another set coming later with Wheeljack and Grimlock. These retail for $25 USD. To get an idea of the size of these, since they are much bigger than the previous crash combiners, you can look at the two video reviews below.
We have news that Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee Battlepack has been found at Target. This Buzzworthy set of four repacked Cyberverse figures was found at a Target in California by TF fan Chico. This pack is $41.99 and has the original and lesser molds used for warriors Optimus Prime, Starscream and Bumblebee, while the Megatron mold included is of a later wave since it has his double canon cybertronian alt mode.
