Seibertron.com member Real Devastator has stumbled upon news from overseas. Takara has released the Blue, Grey Alternity Megatron as well as the Black Alternity Prime. It has hit stores in Asia.

There are 2 shops in my area (possibly 3) where I know I will be able to pick these up but no force on Earth would make me part with the kind of money they would be asking...if I had that kind of money. I could keep an eye out for those folks in the states who are interested but I sure as heck can't snag you one. I'll go as far as to put you in contact with 'em though.

Man, that Convoy - Super Black looks sweet! I wonder how he'll be portrayed in the fiction. Will he be Prime's third Auto-Avatar, or will he be the powered-up form of one of the two existing ones?

Either way, we know he's NOT Nemesis Prime/Scourge or some other evil clone.

geez, those took awhile to get released. a good thing though as the quality and detail on my red convoy was immaculate.

Got mine today, black convoy and Premium lemans blue Megatron. Personally i think Convoy still a better figure, nicer car mode and robot mode...
If you dont have either and need to choose one, get prime. Black one is awesome! I got a red one (as prime should blue and red), but i cant resist the Black convoy.

Whew, glad someone else got 'em and posted pictures first! Takes the impetus off've me!

Now I can slowly comparison buy Megatron at my leisure...
