The order period for the TFSS 4.0 will begin in August and will cover two pay periods to help those wanting to pay in full upfront. Of course if you do need to spread your payments out rather than pay in one lump sum, there is, as always, the 3 payment installment plan as well. The TCC expect to start taking orders for the TFSS 4.0 starting around the middle of the month.
Stay tuned for additional information on all six TFSS 4.0 figures - Bludgeon, Ruckus, Windsweeper, Spinister, Needlenose and Impactor.
And remember, anyone who completes the subscription will receive a FREE Bonus 7th Deluxe Class Combiner Wars figure!
More Bots. More News. More Awesome.

Can someone provide a price or a price estimate for the subscription? Being able to budget for this would be helpful.

Basically, about the same price as a Botcon set for more or less the same amount of figures. Makes sense to me.

This post on the last page of the thread mentioned it being comparable to 3.0, so thanks to shipping/etc I'd budget yourself about $425, which assumes a minor increase in price from 3.0 (better to plan for more, right?)It Is Him wrote:Can someone provide a price or a price estimate for the subscription? Confirmation of a seventh CW mold knocks out any Thundercracker speculation. That's just totally in the face of Hasbro's statements about completing the seekers if either SW or TC is done. Perhaps he'll come through Hasbro then. Glad nobody took me up on that bet.

Curse you and your reasonable maths!
I didn't realize how much 3.0 had jumped, actually. And was hoping for the sign up to open in September, not August. Oh well.

If it's comparable to 3.0, then it was $297 + shipping + installment fees (if you choose to not pay the lump sum up front). I just got charge $117 for the 2nd installment of 3.0, so hopefully closer to $375 or less.

Can't wait for hi rez pictures of Bludgeon and the others.
Could we get alt mode pics too want to see how Impactor would work from the Rook mode.
If anyone here works for TCC or know anything about these sets could Impactor also get a Drill accessory instead of the clamp or are you/they limited to only making new heads?

Do we know how frequently and how severe the qc issues are? I wouldn't necessarily bring it up, but I do remember that previous tfss figures have had some problems; most recently nacelles massive issue. I won't pay $300-400 for a combiner with qc issues that keep it from being a decent figure.

$300 would be a lot easier to swallow. Do you have to pay shipping on each piece? I haven't done a full subscription before, and I hadn't even considered that cost.

I hope the 7th one is either:
Crankcase from Swindle
Guzzle from Brawl
Quake from Brawl (with Targetmasters and new head) (I think Pete said no on this one..)
Ironfist from First Aid (new head)
Logically, the 7th figure will be a repaint of one of the others. Who knows, though...

Funny, all the uses the little guy gets. i'm using the Micron as Fistfight, for no other reason than he matches the colors on Prime Shockwave.

Shipping is included either in the up-front cost, or the installments. It's not an unreasonable shipping price domestically unless you pay for the better options. If you are out of country, well, you probably know what to expect.
Where they get you is a "transaction fee". If you pay the all at once, it hits you one time. If you do the installments, they hit for each installment. It's like an extra 8 bucks. Or it was. Using the above example, the $117 installment price is probbaly the $7 transaction fee, $10 shipping fee, $100 for the two figures.
Someone else asked about how m,uch Impactor was.

- Individvually, if yu break down the set price, about 55 or 60 bucks. A Voyager=2 deluxes in price, and we have the 7th figure, so you have 6 deluxes and a voyager or "8 deluxes", 400/"8"= $50 each.
- On BBTS, or another, $80 Definately the high price like Scourge and Slipstream were, cause it's Freakin' Impactor and leaving aside the close but no cigar FOC fig, this is the first IMpactor figure.
- On Ebay, IF he get's leaked, youy might be able to nab him for 55.

What "massive issue"? Neither of the two minor misassemblies were big enough deals to inhibit any of the figure's functionality and playability.Hellscream9999 wrote:Do we know how frequently and how severe the qc issues are? Thank you for that, I'm having difficulties finding the terms & conditions for 3.0. What I *can* say is that I've been hit with 2 transactions of $117 and expect a 3rd in August or September. That should be the end of it. So: 7 figures, shipping, and installment fees should total $351.

In-so-far as I know, it cannot be fixed without breaking the leg; also there is the whole 'paying ~$60 for a mis-assembled deluxe' thing. It may not seem massive, but what happens if something similar happens to bludgeon? You would then be unable to combine him theoretically.

It's rare that there comes a misassembly so severe as to ruin the figure on such a large scale, and in the off chance that such a case does occur it usually isn't a widespread case, instead being a isolated case or so, in which case the Club can replace one's "broken" figure if the problem is reported and taken care of quickly enough.Hellscream9999 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:What "massive issue"?
