New editions of Japanese magazines Telebi-kun and Telebi-magazine (TV-kun and TV-magazine) have come out with profiles of Blitzwing and Lugnut and images of Wave 4 of Takara's Animated figures. They also show images from Sega's card-game/arcade-game with what may be an early screenshot of Sunstorm!
If that IS Sunstorm in the 4th pic with the games, it's interesting that he looks a LOT more like the darker orange Starscream KO than the official US Target version. Maybe that level of "The Shoot" is more about blowing away random Starscream clones than the 5 introduced in "A Bridge Too Close". If that's the case, it actually makes perfect sense to give expendable imitations of Starscream the appearance of random knock-offs you're encouraged to destroy, doesn't it? I may just have to keep mine as is to represent that guy instead of kitbashing it into Slipstream-
-I mean, destroy it just like in the game! If I actually owned one, which I wouldn't, because I do have the Target Sunstorm and therefore no need for a fake orange Starscream. It's not like I held them side by side to compare to the screencap! Yeah...
Oh yeah, we hadn't seen Soundblaster before! Come to think of it, since "Soundblaster" technically only existed in the Autobots' nightmare/simulation, it's rather strange that he'd somehow make it into the real world to attack Firestorm--I mean Safeguard (same name in Japanese?)
Or maybe this is a scene from a dream the twins are trapped in? That might explain how normal size Skywarp and tiny Activator Thundercracker are able to ambush them simultaneously with their forced-perspective-attack.
