Remember the Kre-O Series 2 "Quest for Energon" Dark Energon Weapon? It was a Kre-O Super Weapon that could be assembled by acquiring the translucent Dark Energon pieces that came in the various Series 2 sets. While most who were interested probably figured this out on their own, the official instructions have finally been released via the Hasbro Taiwan website. We've mirrored instructions below for those who are interested. The name of this weapon is "Quest Blaster".

I wonder how many people even collected all the parts, both because of the expense and distribution (or lack thereof).

You'd think the instructions would be included with the sets, at least partially. Step 1 with Megatron, Step 2 with Devastator, Step 3 with Vortex, etc., etc..

Wait, how is this news? I mean, these instructions actually used to be up on Hasbro's site back when the Quest for Energon sets were out.

I mean, now these instructions probably aren't up anymore, but the article sounds like these instructions have never been seen before.

I wasn't aware that these instructions were ever publicly available. Eh, either way I don't think there was much awareness of them.

It took a while but I got all the pieces (thank Primus for Ross/Marshall's!) and put all the parts on my Trypticon. When I got the last set, I took all the parts off Tryp and built the weapon to the best of my ability based on the pics and I have to say, it was a little anticlimactic. It just looks like a purple cloaked Star Trek ship. It works better as parts than a whole. Still, it's good to have official instructions available.
