Motormaster looks a lot like Lemmy from Motorhead.

The only Motormaster you need is the Ace of Spades.

Wow this is a popular discussion.... Ok, this is meant for anyone who is still on the fence about this set.....WHAT IF? What if some clever 3rd party company makes an armor upgrade that will allow these figures to combine? I know, it's unlikely being that they are Animated, BUT, now that I know the molds, I'm working out the armor myself and going the non-attended route this year(sux). If, god forbid, FANSPROJECT made a Crossfire for this unit, would not it's awesomeness be unrivaled? Yeah.

This has officially become the greatest toy ever. The only thing that can top it is if they do a figure with a Freddie Mercury head.

I knew they would make an Optimus Repaint.
Kinda knew Lockdown's but I couldn't see Arcee's coming. I was expecting Blurr's

So that's:

Motormaster - Optimus Prime
Dead End - Jazz
Breakdown - Rodimus Minor
Drag Strip - Arcee
WildRider - Lockdown

I would not be surprised if we get an Animted G2 Breakdown. He seems to have become a bit of a Botcon Icon for some reason. Probably because he was the first Botcon figure.

I hope for Primus sake Hasbro will include ugly extra lego-like bricks (which a lot of TF fans will hate if they did) to make them combine. PLEASE, I'll have to ebay it since I'm a poor student in the netherlands (middle east like country).
Me wantz, I'm going to have to sell my car :s

You know I was just looking at the homepage of the site and saw the banner with all 5 together and the more I looked at the set, the more I liked it.

Individually the Stunticons are not very impressive, but altogether, they look like they will actually end up being a pretty cool set. I'm thinking about getting a loose set so when I make the combiner add-on, I can display them altogether.

I think I will enjoy owning these.

Exactly. I have already started testing out some bits for combination. HOPEFULLY, a 3rd party company will do this for me. :D

Probably, but given TFA's extensive use of deception and espionage in story, I would not be shocked if you get an Animated Breakdown repainted as G2 Sideswipe, with the engine/sigil panel replaced by a piece that's flat on both sides, with a Stunticon symbol on one side and an elite guard symbol on the other.

This is exactly what we take in to consideration when we worked out the box set. When displayed together, in both robot and vehicle mode, the 5 of these guys (and gal) are all perfect for each other.

We wouldn't have wanted it any other way...

I hope you enjoy!

Pete@BotCon: Are we on the right track here with the idea of G2 Breakdown ending up in this set?

To me it seems only logical that he would be either the add-on or the souvenir seeing how it would help offset the cost and having to make a new addition to the mold and that since this is G1 Breakdown's first appearance at Botcon, I think that the appearance of his "twin" would only make sense.

Sipping on a Colt 45 reading all these comments about Motormaster and laughing my ass off !!! I cant believe some fans are dissing each other on twitter. I hate twitter. And why must people continue to use the stupid term "fan boy" ??? It just sounds f**king corny.

As far as motormaster, I said it from the begining it should have been Wreck Gar. Remove the forklifts and you have a short fat animated style semi truck complete with a trailer like the G1 toy. Black Prime sucks.

Except that Wildrider must be taller than everyone else!

We are really excited to see the other figures. Especially if four of them happen to be Ironfist and Autoroopers and they have a new headsculpt!

You know I was in total agreement until I started knocking around the Animated molds for the Menasor mode. As I pulled down figures from my Animated shelf, I took a good look at UM. Other than his size, he really does not look much like Motormaster. Plus he has a pesky Elite Guard insignia molded into his chest. And in defense of Prime, he is a little taller than Wreckgar, which is nice for a team leader.

In a series of Tweets, @DerrickJWyatt posted an avant garde, brooding poem "written" by BotCon Dead End:

@DerrickJWyatt wrote:AND NOW: A poem, by Dead End.

Dead End wrote:I collapse to the oil stained floor of the garage, cracked and crumbled from the attack’s barrage
the throbbing tormenting boredom of this existence, spans unrelenting into infinite distance
painful longing to return to dust, we are all just food for rust.

The end.

Does this get you more excited for BotCon 2011? Will we see more characterization of the other four members of the Stunticons?

It would be my first Botcon set. Probably my only one.

I still don't care for Motormaster's head, though.

BotCon 2011 brings back Transformers Animated for one more adventure!

Fort Worth, TX - March 7th, 2011 - Fun Publications, Inc, licensee for Hasbro’s Official Transformers Collectors Convention "BotCon", is pleased to announce that BotCon 2011 will feature an ALL-NEW Transformers Animated story! Tying in to the theme of this years Animated Stunticon Convention set, this special one-shot story (dubbed Season 3.5) is written by Marty Isenberg, Story Editor for the critically acclaimed Transformers Animated cartoon series. The new 22 page story, with art provided by Marcelo Matere, will be featured in the pages of the annual Transformers: Timelines comic and will debut at BotCon 2011.

"Marty and Derrick have crafted an amazing cast of characters, and with Marcelo doing the comic art, fans of Animated will be excited to read this new adventure!"

With Cybertronians finally able to relax, focus has turned from the fears of war back towards some of the recreational events their planet has to offer. And the next big thing has just rolled into town; The Motormaster and his traveling Stunt Convoy! But are these mysterious robots here to put on a show or are they planning a real demolition derby?
BotCon 2011 is being held in Pasadena, Ca from June 2nd - June 5th. Collectors and fans of all ages can register for the show this March when online registration begins. There are different registration packages available, the most popular being the Primus package, which includes an exclusive 5-piece convention set featuring toys of the Animated Stunticons! Man, that circus idea really made me cringe at first readthrough, dredging up memories of the Cosmic Carnival (issue #44). But on second thought, a traveling stunt-show makes perfect sense. And "Stunt Convoy" sounds like it should have been the name of one of the planet leaders in Galaxy Force/Cybertron.
