Well the animal modes weren't for hiding in the Beast Wars cartoon anyway (after all, it's not like Scorpoknok, Tarantulas and Black Arachnia shrank down when they transformed.)

Love that we have a better look at Cheetor's cg model now, I think he looks fantastic. He looks completely robotic, but also maintains a certain organic smoothness. Hope we get better looks at Airazor and Rhinox soon.

feeling Beast Machines influence in the mix between robotic and organic. Very, very nice balance.

This seems a very fun tie-in promotion!
The designs look better by each render!

Ironically, Kingdom. When Arcee makes a comment about “some are having a better time getting over this terrain than others”
I thought it was one of the few good things to come out of the Netflix series

Yeah, but it's ok, I like Flashwave's answer a lot.

We have info on two books for young readers relating to Transformers Rise of the Beasts. One is called Mission at the Museum and deals with the humans in Brooklyn and the other is The Search is On which deals with the Autobots and Maximals trying to get an artifact (the Transwarp key) in Peru. You can read all the details below. Both books come from Simon and Schuster. Please remember that, as we saw with the tie in books for Bumblebee, these books are based on older film outlines which may not be the same in the final film.
Mission at the Museum: https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/ ... 1665921886
The Autobots and their human friend Noah team up to save the day in this Level 2 Ready-to-Read!
A researcher at the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration is running tests on an ancient falcon statue when it crumbles, revealing an ancient artifact hidden inside. Noah and the Transformers bots go on a brave mission to keep the artifact safe, but Scourge and his sweeps have other ideas.
Combining the heart of Bumblebee with the action and spectacle that first captured moviegoers around the world in the original 2007 Transformers film, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a new 90s globetrotting adventure and introduce the Maximals and Terrorcons factions to the Autobots’ battle on Earth. This is the first of three new installments of the Transformers universe.
The Search is On: https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/ ... 1665922531
The new Transformers movie, Rise of the Beasts, roars into theaters June 9, 2023, starring Anthony Ramos, Ron Perlman, Peter Cullen, and Dominique Fishback!
Rival factions of Transformers bots race against each other in this action-packed 8x8 storybook.
The Transformers bots travel to Peru to find a very powerful and ancient artifact. Can the Autobots find it before Scourge and keep the Decepticons from using it to take control of Earth?

Wasn't expecting the Sweeps to be in this.

Reminds me of the DotM storybook that spoiled how we were finally going to have the satisfaction of seeing Herp and Derp die on the big screen!
...sigh.
When fandom's rage costs fandom its catharsis.

So… are the Decepticons going to be in this movie or not? I wouldn’t mind if they weren’t, but any news around their involvement is hazy at best (or information based on older versions of the film.)

I wouldn't as they could easily be referring to Scourges little gang and the name was dropped in a later version of the script.

Good, because the Terrorcons have nothing in common with the sweeps except the name of their leader. But then again, Terrorcons isn't such a fitting name either. Kind of cringe, really. I was hoping before the robot mode photos leaked that they would be animal-like in robot mode to fit with the beast theme (like a dragonlike scourge and obviously birdlike nightbird), so I have to say I'm kind of disappointed by these- knock off deceptions.

A thought just crossed my mind. The filmmakers might have gone with the bad guys in this movie being Terrorcons instead of Predacons just so that the use of "Terrorize" could make sense with the name of those who use it, reflecting the synergy between "Maximal" and "Maximize" that was always missing between "Predacon" and "Terrorize".

Oh I love this. It almost seems obvious now, and I’m gonna go ahead and anticipate this line in the movie. Definitely Scourge saying this as the final battle begins and the “characters on both sides begin battle by running towards each other across a massive field” scene happens.

Watch the after credits scene be BW Megatron investigating the scene of the last battle, murmuring to himself that he likes the 'terroize' phrase
All jokes aside, I am expecting an after credits stinger of that type to set up the stand alone beast wars movie (assuming it hasn't been cleared off the internal slate)

Makes sense but I woul've prefered the Predacons to be called terrorcons other than this new team.
