Alright that's a little overzealous of a conclusion, but this same schedule was done to the entire A/E/C series after each premiered at a more friendly timeslot originally. Once moved these series seemed to quickly lose favor with many individuals who would not even try to watch them due to the very unfriendly time, and thus, they lost a lot of the working adult TF community's support, as well as, many TV viewing children's support. This is pure conjecture of course, the shows may also not have been good enough to keep the support and popularity no matter what time they were on, but this did not seem to help.
While it is true there are many legal and illegal options to seeing episodes after they have aired, will younger children have these resources available to them to keep interest in this show going, after all it is aimed at them?
According to the CN schedule "Elite Guard" will be the last new episode as well as the last episode on Saturday/Sunday mornings for the foreseeable future.
Starting Monday, April 14th Transformers Animated will start airing at 6:00 AM with "Home is where the Spark is" The schedule lists rerun episodes at this timeslot until at least April 24th where the listing ends with "Survival of the Fittest".
What happens after that? Will TF ANIMATED be returned to the original weekend timeslots when new episodes are to be presented? Will it stay at weekdays at 6:00 AM which has put off many viewers in the past?
You can view the Cartoon Network schedule yourself here, and keep watchful of it for more updates, as they fill it in for later dates.
What do you think? Is the schedule change permanent? Is it friendlier for children than the collector community? Is it a minor, or major inconvenience, or not inconvenience at all? Do you care?

*UPDATE* Overcharge has found that TV.com states that TF ANIMATED will be returning on Satuday, April 26th with the new episode, "Return of the Headmaster".
So are they simply just replacing the worn Cybertron reruns with Animated reruns? It appears so. But we have our eye on you Cartoon Network, we have our eye on you...

And I thought I was extremely mad at them for showing Jurassic Park 3 and that Ben 10 live action show. Oh no, New reason to block that frickin channel.
But I am surprised that the show got dumped to 6am before the toys even had a chance to hit the stores. Wow, no low for Hasbro.

I have this small chip on my shoulder for this series. And I tried to hold back the negative comments I have about it since the show IS mainly for the kids.
Not that people won't watch something around 0600 military time. But even more questions, "Do these circus clowns at the top realize that they're going to kill the series?" "Based on a popular franchise?" "Or is it already considered dead?"
(Long silence here.)
None of what happened during the series had helped matters much:
- The aim toward the young audience was to straight.
Why children? Why not teenagers (since some of them LOVE cars)?
Five Cybertronians on each side instead of 20+.
Not much spotlight on the Decepticons.
The breaking of "Rule #1: You Do NOT Mess With Old School."
Fans of the 80s TF ARE NOT DEAD YET.
AND the upcoming toys look like crap compared to the 2007 Movie and Classiverse toys.
Hasbro might need to release said Classiverse in the Summer as oppose to the Fall.

Iron-Man wrote:Folks. It's only the reruns that will be airing at that time. New Episodes (as someone else pointed out) will still air at 10:30AM on Saturday and 11:00AM on Sunday.
I figured it was something like that. The time shift is probably CN's alternative to an on-air break.
EDIT: ...or maybe Cartoon Network is trying to RUIN TRANSFORMERS FOREVER!!!

It won't affect me, with two DVRs in use, but it will wreak havoc with those of you who can't find a solution other than to sit down and watch it.
I would love to know their thinking behind this. I just have to know why 6:00 in the friggin' morning is so important??

But that means I get TF Animated at 3 AM!!!!
TF Animated is on at 10 or 11,
I've had to wake up at 7 to watch.
Now I gotta wake up at 3 AM on weekdays!
eh, they're reruns.
but arghhh!
why can't Cartoon Network just play shows that people like me like when we are awake!!!

Energon and Cybertron were both aired at 6am on Saturday for their one and only run through on Aussie TV, and I expect something similar for Animated too.
And those who complain about the time shift, thats what VCR's and DVD recorders were made for.

Granted Transformers is a consistant show, always having something to offer since G2 and BeastWars, but why 6am?
I mean realy, why not 7 or even 8:30, do we realy need 11 hours of My Gym Partner is a Monkey!?!
Come on Cartoon Network, be nice to Transformers, even with a 6am time slot it's still a powerhouse in sales, and hell, when KidsWB had it on at 3:30 it did great!
