Still need to catch up on RID S3, but even knowing Cyberverse is starting next month isn't making that seem all too urgent anymore.

Probably I'm not missing much given the first clip released, still this pisses me off a lot.

If I hadn't seen the first clip, I'd be right along there with you.
But I suspect I'm not missing anything.
But hey, there's always someone else on YouTube to help us out!

You're missing a low effort, low quality animation show.
Fingers crossed after this show gets axed they go back to putting the time into making something worth watching and re-watching.

Animation withstanding (looks like something out of a video game), what else is low quality? The writing seems at least decent and the voice acting is alright.

Thank you.
And now I'm finally able to.. criticize it.

Actually I'm expecting this to be a hit with the "target" audience. Enough of a hit for a couple of seasons at least.
What we need is either someone brave enough to try a new direction or the whole market to shift away from this style. As a business in can't blame hasbro for chasing after money, it's their purpose after all.

I’m there with you. I don’t mind what we’re seeing. It’s aimed at a younger audience and it looks like it’s going to be a fun series. I’d really love to hear what kids are going to think and not the kids who have parents that come on here and say how their kid hates it and says it for babies because their parents have been telling them it looks like that so they can come here and use their own opinion that they’ve convinced their child that they have.
The animation is unique, the designs are very stylized which I’m on board for.
Wanna throw a fit about bumblee not talking in a cartoon? Okay go ahead but it’s been a characteristic of his for over a decade now and it’s something that’s been cemented in a modern bumblebee. He was in one cartoon 25 years ago for 2 seasons and had only a handful episodes that he starred in and was forgotten for almost 20 years until he was revived in 2006 with a new classics toy.

The cartoon animation awful through out. About half was quality animation BUT it revived the brand. There are plenty of people in the fandom that will say the unicron trilogy brought them back or introduced them to transformers.
I think this is what Hasbro is trying to do with Cybetverse and I hope it does. I don’t know if I’ll tune into it not because I don’t think it looks good I already said I’m for it but I’m just not into cartoons. I don’t watch cartoons anymore. I read comics and collect CHUG but even now I’m considering retiring from collecting. I feel power of the Primes has given my collection every character I wanted to complete my collection.

His cobbled-together radio speak is an effective homage to Bay-Bee, but in the two clips we've seen, I just didn't think it was executed all that well. That Spit-Cup thing in 'Kaujudo: ______ of the Duel Masters' that spoke in internet memes had a slightly more amusing vocal pattern than Bee has exhibited here. Maybe it's just that conveying character beats through this speech pattern takes too long for two short clips, but amnesiac-Bee's just alternating between lame and bland so far.
I do genuinely like the animation style for being different, but there's also a certain blandness to it. Hopefully kids will find this show memorable, but what I've seen so far just reminds me of Michael Moorcock's theory that the end goal of all art is to achieve 'The Condition of Muzak'. To keep things fresh, the next leg of the franchise may need to take the risk of a Beast-Wars-level sharp turn.
Or this show might get interesting...but the theme of a major character questing to regain lost memories kind of implies retreading familiar territory.

Slowly they whittled the cast down until their last two beloved stars: Bumblebee and Windblade. I love the Takara Legends Windblade headmaster toy.. such a great design. Why make her look stupid? And Bumblebee omg... they're really playing the amnesia trope?and making him look like a stubborn obstinate child is not helping, is it? I just can't figure out the audience for this show other than extremely young kids...

He’s the introduction character. He’s learning about himself as you’re learning about him and the transformers. That’s why we get humans in the cartoons. We got spike and the transformers told him(us) about them and what they are. Same with every cartoon we’ve gotten, you have to have that character that needs to be there to introduce the transformers to. For what we’ve seen so far bumblebee is going to be that character in this show and giving him amnesia is a way to introduce the transformers to the audience.

That said, there is plenty of time for the writing in this series to surprise us all, especially once they've done all the basic setup.

They might as well call Bee, "Bumble-Angelo"!
