Forgive me if it has already been confirmed but is sqweeks a minicon? I'm just getting that kind of vibe from him.

Well. If anyone had any doubt Michael Bay was directing this.. They don't have it anymore.

See, I always thought that quote to mean that no one should be punished for anything. But in the case of raw vengeance, yeah, I see where you're coming from. I don't think emotion should be involved with any punishment.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Look at that, you've but proven my point. You're coming at me on some hater shit, without even understanding where I'm coming from. I don't come here talking about these things out of my ass. If you can show me a significant number if instances throughout human history that contradict with what I said, by all means.
Anyway, yesterday, my sister showed me a video on her phone. It was one of the TLK cast members, on set, saying he was "making energon," and he had dozens of bottles filled with some type of green goo around him. I don't know where she got the video, but I thought it would be important to mention that there's actual physical energon this time around. Which is cool, but why green?

I've always hated that saying. I'd much rather the world be blind and just than blatantly unjust, taking pride in its wicked ways, wearing every sin as a badge of honor.
I don't think you quite understand the saying as it's more about how you deal with people. To put it simply hatred breeds hatred, sly, if you really wanted a just world, you would want to put an end to the hatred as well, and help everyone overcome it.
Heh, guess I'm letting my optimistic side show more, oh well, never hurts to smile

Shouldn't the question be, why not green?
Besides, if memory serves correctly, isn't Transformer "blood" green? Speaking strictly on the movie's incarnation of their species.

Well, AllSpark energy is blue, and its main power was energon.Madeus Prime wrote:SlyTF1 wrote:Anyway, yesterday, my sister showed me a video on her phone. In G1 toon, Energon was typically pink, but truthfully it can be, and has been just about every color you can imagine. TF "blood" (if you can call it that) is pretty much the same. Though I like how in TF:TM when the Autobots were slaughtered aboard the shuttle, Prowl just smoked, and some "clear" fluid can be seen. In the Bayverse, the blood seems to be a darkish red, I think of Brake Fluid or Battery fluid when I see it, but the decision was made nor doubt to simulate human blood cause...you can get away with way more in PG-13 when slaughtering robots as opposed to humans.

The KSI robots had green blood, and Lockdown vomited some green liquid when he was killed. I think Ironhide had some green liquid dripping from his mouth when he died, too. Other than that, energon has usually been pink or purple in every other continuity.

The AllSpark in the movies runs on energon and its energy was colored blue, wasn't it?SlyTF1 wrote:Madeus Prime wrote:SlyTF1 wrote:Anyway, yesterday, my sister showed me a video on her phone. I always assumed that was just the energy emitted by the Allspark, and not energon itself.
I completely forgot about synthetic energon in TF Prime. That was green.

Granted, it's likely not "normal" energon, as the AllSpark wouldn't even be needed if ordinary energon could do the whole "life-giving" thing on its own, but still probably some special kind of energon, converted from normal energon by the cube to give it life-granting properties.

Energon is energy, though. It's even in the name.SlyTF1 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The AllSpark in the movies runs on energon and its energy was colored blue, wasn't it?SlyTF1 wrote:Madeus Prime wrote:SlyTF1 wrote:Anyway, yesterday, my sister showed me a video on her phone. I am a little surprised that they are taking this marketing campaign really seriously. Using film coverage as a gimmick is one way to attract people to see the movie, no matter the reputation of the franchise.

Yeah, what he said. Though in all seriousness, maybe opt-optimus is thinking that the release of pictures from the film sets is just a marketing campaign. In a way he's right but it's something every movie does.

The Michael Bay official website and Flickr account have shared another image from the Transformers: The Last Knight set showing ..er.. trucks.. sort of ..um.. flipped, against a green screen. Described by Bay as 'Creating some wicked action in 116 degree weather.', these are a clear indication of the mystical powers of ROM the Spaceknight infused with the wisdom of Merlin of Avalon. Or maybe just an explosion in progress, knowing the modus operandi of the director. In any case, check out the image below, and speculate away entirely about nothing in the Energon Pub!

Given Bay's tendency to use real pyrotechnics, i doubt it's an explosion.

I enjoyed the action scenes implemented within the 'tractor beam', I vividly remember being awed by the triceratops guy running on the side of a building while being pulled up towards the ship, it was awesome. So I hope this is in a similar vein.

Via the official Transformers: The Last Knight Snapchat account, we have yet another look at what is probably going to become the 'mascot' figure of the live action movie - for better or for worse - in its digital render model, courtesy of Industrial Light and Magic (ILM). Check out Vespa-former Sqweeks below!
