Yeah, it's nice to see the gun pictured. I think the eye-changing gimmick is pretty cool. Lets you choose if you want a red eyed or a blue eyed Grimmy. And he can choose to go factionless too, pretty nifty.

march can't come soon enough. hope i can get a good deal on one of these! For some reason - i kept thinking the eye change was for robot mode. Forgot about alt mode.

I totally agree. The thought of the Dinos in MP form makes me
The rest of the crew needs an update either in the Classicverse line or in the MP line. They could do a G1 version and then do a G2 repaint. I'm sure a lot of people would jump on both versions.

Usually the Masterpieces try to make the figure look more show-accurate, and yet this time Grimlock looks more toy-accurate. Why is that?

Hasn't Takara already confirmed that a G2 Blue repaint of MP Grimlock is planned?
I believe they have.

I think if you go back and look at the G1 toy gallery, you'll find that MP Grimlock is very show accurate. Asides from Prime, probably the most if all MPs.

Suhweet!!! I'm going to guess that his eyes were blue in both modes in the G1 cartoon. I think i'm right.

Yes, he is, but he's still a little more toy-accurate that show-accurate. If he were going for the pure show-accurate angle, his transluscent yellow would be solid yellow, he wouldn't have as many details, and he wouldn't have the option of switching his eye color to red.
But don't get me wrong, this Grimlock looks fantastic. I'm just an observant viewer.
