With BotCon just around the corner (if we ever get to actually register), why don't you take a look at SENTINEL MAXIMUS who was available at the Official Transformers Collectors Convention in 2004. It seems that many people overlook this cool item that is a remold of Armada Overload.

Here's the item's official description: This is a TRANSFORMERS UNIVERSE BOTCON 2004 EXCLUSIVE "SENTINEL MAXIMUS" FIGURE! From HASBRO (2004)! This RARE figure was only available at the 2004 BOTCON! Also includes "APE-LINQ" MINI-CON FIGURE! Comes 100% COMPLETE IN ORIGINAL BOX! Figures in MINT condition! Colector owned- HAS NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED OR PLAYED WITH! Box is in EXCELLENT condition with storage wear including small tear/hole on back of box over description and very light crease on insert flap from opening of box. Back in 2001, a special version of the original Ultra Magnus reissue was made. This item is meant to commemorate Ultra Magnus brief appearance in his original "Diaclone Powered Convoy" color scheme. This Toy Festival 2001 exclusive was limited to 1,500 pieces.

The first crazy expensive Japanese auction for today's Featured eBay Auctions is BLACK ZARAK. He's the baddest of the bad from the Japanese exclusive series Masterforce. Beside the fact that a 100% intact unbroken Black Zarak is pretty damn hard to find, this bad boy is AFA graded which means you'll never know if his gold plastic has crumbled inside of this beautiful box. TRANSFORMERS G1 JAPANESE C311 VINTAGE FORTRESS MAXIMUS

The next crazy expensive Japanese auction for today is none other than GRAND MAXIMUS, the primary adversary to Black Zarak. What makes this particular auction so special (other than this is considered to be quite the holy grail by many fans), is that it's MISB. Wow. It's hard enough to find an affordable Grand Maximus but then add "MISB" to his description and you've got at least one mortgage payment on your hands.
