Coming from ScreenRant we have learned the first details about the relaunch of the Mighty Muggs toy line for Transformers. As you know Mighty Muggs are the super deformed and simplified figures Hasbro used to produce for a variety of their lines ranging from Star Wars to Transformers. Here we get a little look at what is in store for us in the future when these things make a bold return to stores. Hasbro released the following information regarding the line's status:

Get ready to turn heads with TRANSFORMERS MIGHTY MUGGS Figures. Call it a moodswing, or call it a moodSPIN, these TRANSFORMERS MIGHTY MUGGS figures feature a push-and-turn mechanism that lets fans change the figure’s facial expression by pushing down on the head. With 3 different expressions and classic character designs, these figures will have fans doing a triple take. Characters include BUMBLEBEE, OPTIMUS PRIME, MEGATRON and more. Each sold separately. Available at most major retailers and on HasbroToyShop.com.

Looks like a fun improvement on the original concept. If they make an animated Blitzwing I'm in.

Wouldn’t bet the farm on that. It’s all evergreen now.

While we covered a lot of the main attractions at SDCC 2018 (TF-wise), there were a few that we had not shared yet, such as the new Tiny Turbo Titans. Another such toyline was the Transformers Mighty Muggs. Until now, we had not gotten a good look at these new Transfomrers Mighty Mugg figures since all we had gotten was a static in package stock photo. That did not tell us much since the gimmick this time around is that each Transformer has three different faces they can switch to. We see a few of these in the gallery we now have on our site and we now know that along with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Megatron, we are also getting Starscream. These do use the Evergreen designs which are basically G1 designs for the most part (Bumblebee is the one design that differs most from his typical G1 form).

Not sure if weird, cute or scary but if they made a Wheeljack I'd probably get it.

These are great, and arguably the Mighty mugs I've looked forward to the most. I really love the Optimus, and Bee. I'm guessingg we'll get a Soundwave and Hot Rod next, along with possibly Grimlock, to finish off the main evergreen bots and cons, but who knows? Personally I'd like to see them do Jazz again, and maybe some Movie characters. Barricade would be awesome!

Every Transformer fan has a soft spot somewhere deep down in their spark, and these are no doubt bound to cater to them. Whether it be Wheelie, Sari Sumdak, Bob the Insecticon – we all love a touch of cute with our amazing hobby sometimes, and these tiny tough bots are right up that alley! Just in from Hasbro Shop are images of Windblade, Soundwave, Grimlock, Ratchet, even a masked and unmasked Nemesis Prime – each with a rotating expression feature fully capitalizing on the cutification of each of these characters. If these have been an easy pass before you might just take a second glance when you feast your eyes on this latest batch. They’re currently listed for $9.99/each and are expected in the coming months. Enjoy the images below and let us know your thoughts!

I’ve never bought these before but that Ratchet and Windblade are just too cute. Can’t help it, they’re adorable.
