We get a look at Year of the Snake Platinum Edition Optimus Prime in and out of its premium box thanks to AC Toys. We also get to see the premium box for Omega Supreme as posted by Planet Iacon.

As you know by now, Optimus Prime is a G1 repaint of the Energon leader while his drone limbs recieve some nice paint as well. Omega Supreme is retooled from his Energon incarnation with G1 features including claw and head.

Not bad, aside from the emblem... It's cool, but it looks out of place on the figure itself. I'm fine with the regular Fatimus I already have.

He combines with his four drones, Voltron-style, so his proportions are more geared towards Super Mode than anything else.

I do want both, but I'll be replacing Prime's trailer with the standard Energon one.

I already have Year of the Dragon Prime. I don't care much for Omega Supreme, but I will probably pick up this Prime.

When will it be released exactly?

Will there be figures for the other 10 signs of the Chinese Zodiac?

If so, will they be Primes, and more specifically, Primes who have super modes?

I want that OS, never had the original back in the '80s when I was a kid. He would look cool in my collection, might even put DOTM BB that has the "fly omega supreme" logo next to him. DOTM Ark, DOTM Leader BB accessory, DOTM Starscream spaceship all would look pretty neat displayed with him as well as Primus. Hopefully Amazon gets and does that crazy price drop like Jetwing OP.

In any case, Omega's the one with the new head. Prime's head is the later variant with the closed mouthplate.

I would have preferred if the YOTS logo was a bit more discreet, say on his right shoulder as opposed to his sigil. Still, very tempted to add to my PoL

The reason that image has a mouth (and flat insides of the chest windows) is because its a stock photo.

The final product is the mouthplated version with the segmented chest window insides.
