In-Hand Images: Transformers Generations Voyager Blitzwing & Springer, Legends Optimus Prime with Roller & Bumblebee with Blazemaster

Looking forward to getting my hands on the triple changers; finally getting a triple changing Springer is awesome.
The three heads on Blitzwing are cool but I will reserve judgment on all three until I have him in hand.
The OPrime is nice but its really Roller I am after.

...I told myself I wasn't going to care so much about the retro-g1 stuff, but those triple-changers look really nice. Springer has a place to store his sword in car mode, and other than the gap at the back of tank mode, Blitzwing looks really solid, and I love the Animated homage.

And I'm liking the Legends stuff as well, especially the little triplechanging targetmaster buddies. Shame Blazemaster's rotor has to come off for gun mode, though.

Dammit, I told myself I was going to stick to Alligned and not care so much about the strictly retro-G1 stuff... I spent all my money. I need more. A lot more.

really lookin forward to these guys as well... never had the originals but always wanted them

my only complaint is that blitzwing's head looks proportionately too large compare to the original g1 version, making him closer to the TFA version (besides the head changing gimmick of course)

actually i have another complaint... if they managed such a great job with these guys, why couldn't generations galvatron be as good???!?!? cos yeah making a character and mould that deserved an ultra class mould ended up being deluxe...

Galvatron was designed as a Voyager first and incorporated the third mode, but after deciding there were already too many tanks in the Voyager scale (think RotF Megatron and Bludgeon), he was downsized to Deluxe, but keeping most of the engineering.

So these are two solid figures So glad i never pulled out for a warbot defender. i can only complain about one thing and thats how tiny BW gun looks in his hand it could have at least been purple.

The triple changing face worked in Transformers: Animated and only in Transformers: Animated.

But Galvatron was released in 08 right? and ROTF was 09 and Bludgeon was later 09 right? While not disagreeing with you, I think he got caught in that 25th anniversary group that were all deluxes

If I ever find a decently priced KO voyager Galvy, I would pick it up.

Anyway, Springer looks to have some excellent engineering on him. Many kudos to the designers, however I do feel his legs are a bit skinny. But considering the transformation and how good it looks, all is forgiven there!

As for Blitz...I'm not too crazy for those shoulders. But It's Blitzwing, he's a triple changer, and he's big. I'll buy him on sight!

Now,s some comparison pics to FOC Grimlock would be nice to reference size.

Can't wait for these guys to be released. And I love Blitzwing's crazy face!

Wow, Springer's car mode is beautiful! Both these triple-changers look really solid in all modes, very little apparent kibble or spaces/gaps. Well done Hasbro!

keeping the engineering is being a bit generous. if I took a sheet of paper and scrunched it up into a ball, it'd still technically be a sheet of paper, but it'd be a damned miracle if you could make it look the way it was intended to.



Anyway. Springer and Blitzwing are pretty great. Glad I have them pre-ordered. Really liking Springer. Lots of nice touches. Kinda Drift-y too in bot mode. Blitz could do without the half-a-tank alt mode, but the robot looks nice and the jet mode is growing on me. Love the weapons, and the three faces gimmick is okay.

Sadly, I already have FPs Defender (and Botcon Springer for that matter), but this mold will make for a decent Sandstorm repaint.

Phew, for a second I was worried about Blitzwing's head when I saw RK's pics... and man, somebody needs to clean their camera lens.

Good to see he still looks as awesome as he did at NYCC. Can't wait for both of these, but Springer is just plain amazing. Well worth selling my Defender for, IMO. I got back most of (if not all) the money I originally spent on it, too. Love this car mode especially, finally both alt modes look pretty sweet. Can't wait to have these guys facing off against each other in my display for awhile.

I wonder if this means BBTS will be receiving their stock fairly soon?

Still drooling on the voyagers. Blitzwing is definitely a buy (I can live with that 2/3 tank mode). But while I still decide to keep my Warbot as the Springer, his repaint Sandstorm is a buy on sight (if it's official ).

Holy slag, these are awesome. I am getting these, for sure. Springer puts Warbot Defender to shame.

Already have Blitzwing and Springer on preorder. Like everyone else, I'm a little bummed about that half a tank, but I'm still happy to have the Decepticon Triple Changer Trio complete.

As much as I like Op and Bumblebee, I already have too many versions of those two. I'd like to see some other characters show up, like the other Dinobots. Hell, I'd settle for legend size Dinobots.

Blitzwing still isn't doing it for me. It just looks off to me, not like Blitzwing. And those faces look like early Dr. Wu prototype work.

Springer on the other-hand I will gladly kill to get hold of. The legs are a little lanky, but that's the only complaint I have and it's a stretch at that. Mucho wantage!

I love how Hasbro tried to tie the two universes together! It's a wonderful shout out to fans of each continuity, and they at least updated the way his head swivels so you won't exactly see the other faces while displaying just one of them.

Loving the Blitzwing but wont be using the head gimmick not my thing. and I think i will be looking for a suitable replacement for his gun it looks way to small and it could have been molded in purple but he they did a pretty decent job with the figure itself.

Springer is cooler than expected, but a little too big. He cant replace Defender, but I have no problem keeping my pre-order. Blitzwing is bad ass. I wish they would have stayed away from the 3 head gimmick, but still great. I would have preferred both of these guys to be deluxe class though. The Takara version will be mine as well. I have a feeling the Springer mold will work better for Sandstorm providing they can remold him to somewhat mimmick his "hood" minus the propeller.

Once I get these in hand, GDO Springer is getting renamed Sprung, and is joining the pre-Earth bots as a younger version of this awesome triple-changing badass.

Getting Blitzwing just means I'll have to hunt down Classics (or Henkei) Astrotrain for sure now though.

Love Springer. Not crazy for the hollowness to the back of the tank mode. They couldn't find a way to make that a little less obvious?

Springer's robot mode has really nice proportions. He looks tall and lean, without being skinny, but powerful at the same time. Like a Cybertronian swimmer's body.

So... Any preditcion on when these will hit TFsource and BBTS?

Blitzwing is an easy pass for me- half a tank mode makes for a worse figure than the G1 release.

Springer is nice, but doesn't wow me enough to make him an instant buy.

Those legends class targetmaters on the other hand - amazing. They've crammed decent articulation into Legends class figs and triple changing partners using engineering that looks like a massive step up from Armada.

Those two are totally bought and bought and will go perfectly with Metroplex.

Not quite sold on Blitzwing, and it's not so much the face gimmick itself. Actually, it's the G1 face that bothers me; it looks bloated, with a double chin. I don't know, maybe painting up the side borders will fix the problem.

Or maybe it's the lighting and the camera angles?

Springer: bought on sight. Gorgeous proportions and nice face sculpt, and the car mode actually has a solid back portion, unlike a few of the recent car bots in the Generations line (yeah, I'm looking at you, FOC Jazz)! The helicopter mode is surprisingly good as well.

To say that Springer is overall better than Warbot Defender is kind of pushing the envelope just a bit for me. I am pretty much all in if I ever see him on the shelves, but for scale purposes I think Defender will stay where he is. I'm also not big on the legs, I mean they do look great... when you look at them from any angle but the front.

While it is rather disappointing that Blitzwing(rather typically of a triple-changer) falls rather flat on the alt modes, it still looks pretty damn good. Personally I'm rather glad they incorporated elements of the Animated character as to me that was a rather endearing trait that gives him better individuality as a character... or characters... Plus I don't see many alternatives for a new version of the character to put on a classics shelf, so he's as good as bought!

The legends... well I'll never see them on a shelf around here, so they're negligible irregardles of how crap they look anyway.

Any idea when BBTS gets these in? All of them look awesome. Judging by the writing on the packaging it looks like the mini-cons with Prime and Bumblebee have some sort of automorph into gun mode. I do hope Roller is miss-transformed because it looks like Prime won't be able to hold it up. I'm really pleased that both Springer and Blitzwing will have weapon storage.

Springer looks real good. He caught my eye the first time I seen his photos. He looks possible+, they got him doing the one legged standing pose+ it look like he has a waist swivel+ his colors look alrit+

He looks like he can take on a couple Decepticon all by his self+ He is a triple changer that has a great robot mode and two other serviceable modes+ when someone asked what can this toy do? You got a lot to show them+ And he looks like its fun transforming that guy+

I cant think of any other transformers like this one+ And he has colored car rims++++ Im a get him a.s.a.p.+++++

I believe RobotKingdom just got them in stock, so I would suspect BBTS will get it in a couple weeks.

Thanks for the info. Theoretically speaking, if I were to get them from Robot Kingdom would I get them sooner than if I wait for BBTS to get them in stock and ship them out?
