The voice cast is still so unbelievable to me. Peter Cullen, sure, but Judd Nelson plus two randomly-picked Star Trek actors and the most iconic of the Power Rangers? And MatPat? It all sounds like the cast was picked from a young fanboy's pipe dream.

Too late, they've already begun :-P

I'm... still not hopeful for this series (something just says to me that a show that's going to be successful wouldn't put "MatPat" and "DashieGames" in the top billing area), but the only way to really find out is to wait and see. At the very least, hopefully it'll end up making Cyberverse look good by comparison if that releases not too long after :-P

As long as Jason Marnocha's Megatron gets plenty of screentime, we'll have at least one thing to look forward to.

I'd be A little more excited about this series if I didn't have to watch it on a cell phone. go90 needs to make an app for Kindle or better yet, the PS4 and Xbox.
Of course I thought the Combiner Wars was pretty badly written, so I don't have hopes for this one.

Well, on the plus side, this means Freddery is going to be able to give this the mockery it deserves in a Geewun Redone episode. Hooray!

But seriously. Even if it had Evangelion-tier writing and Do You Remember Love-tier animation, the presence of MatPat pretty much condemns it to the lowest level of hell.

2nd most truest thing said today. Va'al over in the shared universe thread on Action Man and Kup beats this out, but it's a close second!

Seriously, Megatron was the highlight of CW and hopefully is here too. He is awesome

He's just the right blend of Cy-Kill's snarkiness and Universal Studios Megatron's playful obnoxiousness. He's a delight.

Brad Garrett has long since moved on to bigger and better-paying things than to play a big dumb animal that any idiot could play in something as insignificant as this.

(Besides, Fred Tatasciore was the best Trypticon ;) )

Greetings Seibertronians, today we have a Behind the Scenes video for the new Titans Return Machinima series. Here's a quick run-down of the video:

-Recording process a reward with watching the actors act the writing out.
-New Actors! Familiar voices!
-Michael Dorn as Fortress Maximus
-Perceptor a very big highlight, played by Will Wheaton
-Peter Cullen back as Optimus Prime
-Judd Nelson back as Rodimus Prime
-Jason David Frank as Titan Master, Emissary. This is the first time we are seeing Titan Master Emissary animated, so this is truly exciting to see how they will be animated.

Titans Return is Coming November 14th to go90!

Be sure to click the image at the top to watch the video on the go90 platform if you are state-side. If you are outside of the US, a Youtube link is available.

It was mostly the framerate that was at the heart of the animation problems for Combiner Wars, so we'll need to see more of the animation to determine if the framerate has gotten better or not.

And the mouth movement. That too was jarring.

Check out the poster and then tell us in the forums if you'll be watching the new series on the Go90 platform on November 14th. Make sure to stay tuned to Seibertron.com for our official reviews of this series!

Pretty sure that tint is just the cockpit canopy's color filtering the glow of the console set in front of Emissary.

There's no cost of entry aside from downloading a free app, so I'll give this a shot. Combiner Wars was pretty awful for the most part, so I'll be eager to see if Machinima has upped their game this time around. They've certainly invested in better voice actors for this.

Good actors dont mean anything. Movie 43 is one of the worst films of all time and has Hugh Jackman, Gerard Butler , Richard Gere, Halle Berry, Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts, Liev Schreiber, Chris Pratt and many more.

They should have invested in 30 frames per second instead.

^ so very true. But at the same time we don't necessarily blame the actors (I know you weren't WJ...I'm just stating a point)...as some of them are occasional visitors here and I personally have the utmost respect for them.

Now perhaps some people can understand my reaction to Animated. It's an acclaimed fan favorite, but good acting, and well written stories could not compensate for my visceral reaction to the look of the show.

Even the Mortal Kombat franchise had a few hiccups (I am referring to MK4), but they learned from their errors to make even better games afterwards.

Why wouldn't Hasbro or Machinima not do the same? And with modern media-tech like boards like this, it is even easier to listen to the criticisms and learn from us, the Fans who support their projects.

I won't deny that Combiner Wars had it's issues; far from it! But does it really need to be as reviled as some fans make it out to be?
I say "No".
At least they made it to begin with, to be critiqued and appreciated by the Fans that enjoy Transformers.

And now they have the ability to use Titan's Return to give us all another story and show us if they have learned from Combiner Wars.

I am legitimately looking forward to watching Combiner Wars in one shot to make it easier to compare with the future Titan's Return story.

ok..., so I was completely unaware that the CW series was a bonus on the Target exclusive of TLK. Is the series terrible? Sure, but as a completest, I'd like to have it on DVD. Does anyone know if it is in the 8 separate chapters, or is it edited as a single presentation?...It irritates me a bit that things like this are not universal. I don't want to have to compare 20 different versions of a single films media release just to "pick and choose" which bonus content I want.. :BANG_HEAD: .

I picked up the Target exclusive for the bonus CW “movie” and eh...it’s grown on me. Aside from the story the frame rate was my biggest gripe and after rewatching it on the bluray it didn’t look as choppy.

It’s not on it’s own disc it’s a bonus feature in the second disc. If you’re a die hard fan and you are just watch it. It’s 40 minutes.

Knowing what you enjoy from your posts you might find some fun in it. That’s not a dig that’s a compliment. Like I just said just I rewatched it and it’s not the worst thing ever.

The story in a nutshell is the war is over and cybertron is run by rodimus, mistress flame and starscream and Combiners are fighting...because. They apparently destroy Caminus and windblade wants to kill Combiners and the council...becuase. The council wants to use the enigma to end the combiner wars by creating more Combiners with the enigma...yeah. Optimus and Megatron join windblade in stopping the council using the enigma...becuase and then it goes to migraine territory.

It’s pretty ridiculous and makes no sense but hey, G1 cartoon and Megatron is pretty awesome in it.

Thanks for the response. I've seen the series, from day one when it first was on go90 over a year ago, so I'm familiar with it. I just like collecting things on DVD/BRD, that are part of my overall interests even if they are terrible.

Honestly I was not happy with Combiner Wars, simply because Combiners are my favorite part of the whole TF mythology, and this In my opinion, did them a great disservice.

I know its overall length is roughly 40 mins, but is the bonus content on the Target DVD shown as a single installment, or 8 separate chapters??

I purchased just the standard TLK DVD/BRD/Digital combo ($20) on release day, but wasn't aware the Target version had this. I don't want to purchase another whole copy just for this, but if I could somehow get the bonus DVD by itself, that would be good enough.

Oh my bad I thought you meant you hadn’t seen it.

Like I said it’s just a bonus feature. When I got it and opened it I said “where the disc?!” Becuase it said on the cover target exclusive bonus disc but it’s not. it’s actually just a feature on the standard bonus disc and to my knowledge the other retail versions had a second disc. Maybe I’m wrong.

You still haven't answered his question. Is it presented as one single "movie" edited together, or as the eight individual chapters that it was originally released as online?
