I passed on Buster OP but geez, if this 2 pack has a repainted Jetfire...

if they "busterize" jetfire i'm all over this. I already own 2 busters, but I'd still buy this one.

If its the same ol grey plastic jetfire, then meh, easy pass.

The colors on that Jetfire in the box looks different than my Jetfire sitting on my shelf. I don't see the greys and blues that Hasbro used. Looks heavily black like he should have been. even the jet engines in his legs look a different color.

I was going to go and buy Jetfire at TRU this evening as it is reduced by £10 but now I dont know what to do. If Kapow can get this for a decent price then Im in.

Never heard of a gun being called a buster but here in Miami buster or busta simply means fool.

In Gundam wing two of the main gundams had "buster rifles."

Also Cloud from FFVII has a "buster sword."

Its basically a term the japanese use for something big and powerful to make it more interesting.

Well I just wento Kapow's web site and there is a pre-order for this set at £99.95 or about $163 dollars USD. Also you can enlarge the view and Jetfire is most definitely different. No blueish-green, except for on his head where the windows are, they are blue. He has silver parts and gold parts. His crotch plate is silver and so are his knees. There is some grey on his jet engines located on his back. It also looks like he comes with a new accessory. It looks like a gatling gun of sorts. He has his cain in his left hand and this "gun" is located at about Jetfires right shoulder(viewers left side). Buster OP has a face plate. Anyway, this is due to be released in Jan 2010. I hope BBTS gets a hold of this one.

From the images, we can confirm that Jetfire will be the new repainted version, as the main difference in colour spotted on his body.
As for Buster Optimus Prime, seems like Takara Tomy giving the collectors a choice by putting the mouth plate back to Optimus! This shall satisfy the need of the fans that dislike the previous version of Buster Optimus Prime.
