Possible First Pics of Japanese Classic Nemesis Prime

Posted by Air Commander Starscream Apr 28, 2008 at 1:57pm CDT 28,184 views
At Botcon there was talk of a second Classic Nemesis Prime being made, this one was to be from Japan. There was no confirmation if it was going to be some sort of exclusive, or a general release but it would have red windows unlike the SDCC version. A Ebay auction has now surfaced with images of a Classic Nemesis Prime with the traditional red windows, so this could be the test shot of the Japanese Classic Figure.
You can view the auction here.

Why does it have Autobot symbols? The red windows are very purty though. And this is a great mold, the more use the better.

Hasbro could have had it wrong and the Japanese are actually doing G1 Black Convoy.

Either way, so much tighter than Botcon Barney-Prime. I'm all over it.

Looks better, but I’m just going to play it safe and buy the US version. The Japanese one usually goes for to much in comparison.

He could be a Black Convoy.

I was confused there for a bit by what you ment by third Nemesis Prime as I don't really consider Shatteredverse Prime a Nemesis Prime. Shatteredverse Nemesis Prime would be a wimpy white 'Con though.

I'm looking forward to this version. One of the few Henkei figures that is an improvement over the Classics version. I don't like how the ComicCon version has no red. Everyone knows it's an important part of his color scheme.

I believe they said that it was going to be a Japanese exclusive, they just weren't sure for what.

Yea technically you are right, Shatteredverse Prime is just his regular self only evil. Updated the story.

Hopefully it will be one of the less expensive exclusives, and not one of the more expensive festival exclusives.

I like the SDCC version alot better. Takara has realy been slipping with the details on the Henkie line.

Hasbro must really REALLY love that mold. How many different repaints of that mold are there now? At least 4 or 5, right?
.

There are only three repaints of that mold. Ultra Magnus, Evil Prime and now Nemesis Prime, making a total of four versions of the mold, but only three being repaints.

I like the mold to a good extent so I’m kind of happy with all the repaints. :)

He is a Decepticon, but this one has Autobot sigils as it is thought to be a prototype.

Hmm, too bad it's going to be a Japanese exlusive, chances of getting it for a reasonable price are slim. I don't like blue windows on a Nemesis Prime. :(

the more i see of these figures and paint themese the more i think there making some of theres characters a little bcakwords neseis prime for instance he has the right colors and i really like the windows on him his autobot sybmols is a good example in what im talking about.

i dont like this kind if new body concept for the primes it is intersting to see what a prime would look like if he would have one those things on him in truck mode on top of his truck cab but just not crazy about it .

OoOoOoOoO! VEEEEERY nice looking! I just might invest in that! The red windows are stellar looking, as I thought they would be when I heard it was coming.

Not too keen on the Autobot insignia though. Just doesn't work for me. Small thing to trip on, but I think I can deal with it!
