The folks at Diamond Select Toys have announced the next release in their series of busts, and it should be quite surprising to most fans.

Created after a vicious battle destroyed both Soundwave and Blaster, the newly-formed Soundblaster possesses the same abilities and personality as his former self with an all-new look. Sculpted by Art Asylum and limited to 1000 pieces, this six-inch bust features the servant of the Headmasters with his trusted lieutenant Ratbat and includes a hand-numbered base with matching box and Certificate of Authenticity.

No word as yet on how much it will cost, but one can expect it to carry a hefty price tag. The news crew will keep tabs on this and update you as more info comes in. In the meantime, make sure to bookmark this page and let us know if anything comes up.

Diamond has been a surprise on the repaint front so far. WW Grimlock is significantly changed from G1 Grimlock, as are Dirge, Thrust and Ramjet from each other.

That is a pretty neat statue, but I'm sticking to my way of buying TransFormers that Transform, so this is a pass.
