With full galleries coming soon, we at Seibertron.com decided to give our faithful viewers a sneak peak at these detailed figures. The one thing that the fandom demanded since we first heard of these coming figures was comparison pictures with the Alternity figures they were remolded from. So without further ado, here is a sneak peak at GT-01 Prime and GT-02 Saber.

Are these with some retailers yet? I ordered mine from Kapow, but still show as pre-order :(

They look so much better than the Alternity versions! I don't need all of these, but I can't wait until I can get my hands on the Fortress Maximus (green) version.

I'm not sure if this has been answered before, but do these Super GT's have the same amount of metal parts as the Alternity versions? Not that I really care if they are plastic, but just wondering.

Have to say that if it was not for HIS (the travel agency), I would have canceled my second pre-order (GT-R Maximus). But it is because of them I got to see a good chunk of Tokyo, spot "Club Primus" (see the photo I submitted to TFsource), and find an area I felt more welcome at. And then be introduced to Kondo Racing, which got me into Super GT racing, which had me find out that my favorite team is in last place this year.

So yeah... GT-R Maximus is officially my Super GT piece. 8) Even though I have to wait until October, and plan to sell GT-Saber to either a friend or my favorite shop... As I pre-ordered him before managing to find the time to watch Victory (which is one of two things that killed that toyline for me). :BOOM: But even then, those who enjoy him and GT-R Prime should know that both teams are doing great, and "team Prime" is even doing better than the previous champs ("team Megatron"). 8)

As promised, here, Seibertron, has produced yet another stunning set of galleries for you to feast your eyes on. This time around it's the Transformers GT toys which were recently released in Japan by Takara Tomy.

GT-R Prime (Optimus Prime) and GT-R Saber (Star Saber) are heavily remolded from the Alternity Convoy mold from 2009. Each toy transforms from the Super GT vehicle mode to robot. Check out hundreds of photos of GT-R Prime and GT-R Saber along with their respective GT-Sisters Misaki and Anna by clicking on the images and links below.

I know what you mean. Misaki's neck is pretty scary looking. Same with her eyes. :BOOM:

However, Anna looks normal... And images of Hiiro (Race Queen/Companion for GT-R Maximus) THANKFULLY looks good. Makes me feel good about being a fan of Kondo Racing (the reason why I am keeping that preorder) and now think Hiiro has the best looking uniform (in terms of the Microman figures) now.

But yeah... Her eyes and neck do creep me out. :HALUC:

Misaki does looks to be the most awkward-looking, due to all the bare flesh with all those swivels and joints. I'm not keen on that face either. And what the hell is going on with those removable hands!!!
Image
Looks like some sort of skeletal fake appendage!

Anna looks pretty nice though. But I still really like Hiiro (with GT-04) the most though: I too believe she's the nicest looking of all four currently seen race queens.

The cars are pretty nice too, by the way

::JUST wants the Microman chicks::

I like how the one in red almost looks like her lower legs are bionic.

The alt modes look good as do most ALT/BLT's do, but the shins of death in bot mode just don't look right.

The one from the C.O.R.P.S. who squeezed into Seifreit's old Zeon outfit to warn her how Microman articulation can lead to scoliosis. Alas, even with Shaya's laser whip to cut through the veil, it looks like he didn't make it in time.

I mean, in theory, legal issues are the only thing preventing a liberal definition of alternate-reality-selves from blurring into characters from other franchises who fulfill the same archetype as an Alternity being. Ya' filter enough Carl Jung through Michael Moorcock, and they're whoever we perceive them to be, right Hegemon?

I like'em, but there's been so much promotion of these things that I feel I've said all that I can say about them without repeating myself or just giving ordinary "Cool!" praise.
