But chrome, people. CHROME.

Chrome forgives all sins.

(Well maybe not all sins, but most of them anyway...shiny...)

Whatever, I'll just wait for more pictures. If it's not perfect enough for 70+$, I do the same thing I did with the Supreme BH Optimus: wait for a sale before buying.

About AD18 and AD19... The Movie Advanced line has two of the Movie Trilogy figures covered: white Ratchet and black Soundwave. What if one of these two slots is for the Wheeljack retool?

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. After all with the exception of that Bumblebee repaint most of the unlreased figures from DOTM are finding some releases in Takara's Advanced line so it's lkely that the Wheeljack retool is among them.

I'm hoping that one of the two slots will include the Trax Rally fighter.

The Hasbro Australia Transformers website has been updated with many new official images from various upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction lines. These include the wave 1 Voyagers and Deluxes, Construct-Bots Sets, Kre-O Sets, Custom Kreons, and 12 inch non-transforming figures. We mirrored the images below for easy browsing.

Speaking of the Wave 1 Voyagers, we have full comprehensive galleries of each at the following links:

Transformers: Age of Extinction Voyager Evasion Mode Optimus Prime
Transformers: Age of Extinction Voyager Grimlock

We will have the Deluxe Wave 1 galleries up soon!

Hasbro Australia has updated their online product catalog with a couple of new official images of the Leader Class Transformers: Age of Extinction Grimlock figure. What's interesting about these images is they differ from the official images that we given earlier this year at Toy Fair. As you can see in the new images mirrored below Grimlock now has chrome on his chest, legs, and dino head. We've included the original official images below for comparison. Check 'em out below:

At least those pictures make Scorn look good. Slug got the short end of the stick this time around.

That Grimlock looks pretty sweet. His body seems a tad long and the fist heels are a bit distracting, but overall it looks great.

Scorn is pretty awesome. His dino mode with the head that tilts from side-to-side is really cool. You can get some really nice poses out of his dino mode. His robot mode is pretty cool as well, despite having a very simplistic head and a tail arm.

Scorn's gallery will be up later tonight or tomorrow.

For all of his issues, Voyager Grimlock is pretty nice and scales well with the deluxe dinobots. Leader Grimlock IMO looks bad in both modes. I thought that his scale would allow for recreating Optimus riding Grimlock from the trailer. But I think I'll probably buy into the Construct-bots for that. All in all, from what I'm seeing Leader Grim looks like he'll be the Movie 1 Megatron from this trilogy. He looks like he'll be top heavy as well.
Anyway, it's too early to call it, but this one is probably a pass. I quite like the Voyager so I'll try that. I really hope this movie is good :D

And that quote makes me think of another possibility: the chromed one may be TakaraTomy's Black Knight Grimlock.
