For those fans, author Matthew Reinhart has the answer: Transformers: The Ultimate Pop-Up Universe, a book featuring iconic characters from the line that not only — you guessed it — pop up, but are able to change into their Earth-bound counterparts with the pull of a tab. Reinhart, a fan of the toys since their introduction in 1984, engineered the intricate pieces in his spreads, depicting Autobots and Decepticons, as well as their home world of Cybertron. All in all, the handy writer crafted more than 50 robots, will all of the pop-ups capable of changing forms.

After seeing that video of this book I was even more impressed with it because nit only does it have great pop up ary but the pop up art transforms as well. :APPLAUSE:

. I just bought it and I'm happy that I got it at a good price. This is going to be my very first Transformers story on paper.

Wonder if a giant Omega Supreme that surpasses even Masterpiece height would get more folks interested in this.
