With Unicron gone, a black hole has formed and is steadily growing in size. With few options available, the Autobots seek out the Omega Lock, an artifact capable of destroying the black hole once and for all. However, Megatron soon catches on and wants the Omega Lock to control the black hole, so that he can reshape the universe in his own image. An ancient Transformer from the beginning of time named Vector Prime appears with a map to the Lock and the four Cyber Planet Keys needed to activate it. Now it's a race to see which side can get the Omega Lock and the Cyber Planet Keys first before the black hole devours everything.
