Huh... I still have Cybertronian Adventures for the Wii to start on.
I know some on here, such as Will, were not entirely sold on those designs. However, Shockwave in particular, is still my favourite design for him. Chiefly because they modernised him.
I didn't like the FOC toys for that cheap thin plastic and simplistic transformations (a fake head on shockwave, really?!). But I never minded the designs themselves.

Nice Soundwave burger!
I didn't like it at first, but now that I know that it refer to something, I'm all for it!

I thought the point of studio series was to be reasonably in scale, and we know SS Ironhide is, supposedly a voyager, ratchet is the same size as ironhide, and I refuse to believe bumblebee movie shockwave is that small.

Also, can we take a moment to consider: Cybertronian Rampage from SS soundwave, because if that doesn't look like the cybertronian precursor to a robocrab I dont know what does.
Or the reverse, when those main characters fit with the Titans in their core class sizes.TF-fan kev777 wrote:durroth wrote:why the holy hell is ratchet core class? and shockwave here for that matter. Because Core class is different, Hasbro said so themselves. The main purpose of core class is to have affordable, simpler versions of the main characters at a cheaper options for parents. Period. That is the whole purpose for that class. The bonus is when it actually fits scale-wise for smaller size bots like Ravage or Rattrap, but those are the exception rather than the norm.

Well, it's a case like AOE/TLK/BB where the concept art Hasbro is given to base the figures off of isn't always accurate to the final design in the film (Aspects of AOE Prime's design, parts of TLK Bumblebee, and Bumblebee's door wings in BB). It seemed like the delay on SS figures for ROTB was to counteract that, but I'm wondering if the film delay will change things at all.
