I just sold my G2 Bruticus and I already have Grimlock. Not sure if that set will be worth the 130$ it will cost me because all of these figures feel pretty hollow and cheap in my opinion.
I'll buy Metroplex first and then I will see if I buy them.
Who I am kidding. I want that set anyway.

Just preordered platinum Bruticus but I'm gonna have to sleep on if I am getting Ultra Magnus or not I don't like the paint job on him .

Sorry Hasbro/BBTS, if this Bruticus were any different from the original SDCC version I'd be all over it, but since it's not, I'm going to have to skip it.
I've got Takara Grimlock on preorder, and won't be cancelling him for this less impressive version.

Still, now everyone have the chance to finally have a game accurate FOC Bruticus without paying the absurd price of the SDCC version.
I can hear the shout of rage of anyone who paid over 250$ for the SDCC Bruticus recently. The scalpers who held onto their SDCC Bruticus will shed delicious tears of bitterness.
It will still be around 130$ for me with the shipping. Need some money...

Sure, it's great for them (though I still HIGHLY recommend Takara's over the SDCC/this version) and it doesn't bother me in the least that it's giving more people a chance to get this version if they want it. I just don't have a need for it.

So that Ultra Magnus looks pretty terrible from the waist down and in vehicle mode. I could take or leave the weaponizer gimick. From the waist up however, especially weilding the forge, he looks spot on awesome. He is totally worth it in IMHO.

They made Grimlock shiny. There is no excuse for Hasbro for not packaging Bruticus in the Takara shiny colors.

Why is Hasbro dropping everything good at the end of July? My wallet, it pleads for mercy! Too many cool and expensive releases all at once 
I really like this version of Grimlock and as much as I am not overly thrilled with the Combaticon molds, for the price these are the way to roll. Wish I hadn't picked up Fruiticus last year

I am hoping these stay in stock for this price at BBTS or Amazon one long enough that I can drum up the cash for them. I think I will try to replace my regular retail versions with these. Here is to hoping they shelf warm as long as the Omega Sumpreme and Optimus have.

If they had given the Combaticons a more Generation One deco (particularly Onslaught, Vortex, and Blast Off), and given Grimlock the game-accurate (and show accurate) red tummy, I would have been all over this. I already own the retail release of Bruticus, and I could care less if I get Grimlock or not (holding out for that Beast Wars Megatron retool).

Very pleased to see these hit. The prices are fantastic, barely more than if these were mass retail releases.
And the Bruticus is very close to the SDCC version, but not exactly like it. Colors are a bit more muted and there's an extra faction symbol here and there. At least I only paid barely more than original retail last month for the SDCC one

Not a bad price, that's about what I paid for my Fruiticus and Grimlock. I'd consider it if I didn't already have them both. I'd love to sell off my Fruticus to free up some money for this, but no one would buy it.
