The more I see WFC Soundwave, the more I want it.

Oh, WFC Megaton, how do I love thee.

I originally didn't like the new Soundwave, but after playing WFC he must be mine. He and the rest of them can't come soon enough =P~

There were soooo many times I almost gave in a bought Henkei Thrust, Dirge, and Red Alert.

Soooo glad I didn't cave in.

Alot of good figures coming out in Generations.

Does anyone know when the WFC toys are gonna be released? I MUST have Soundwave.

Oh my God, Dirge actually looks better than the Takara version. Other than that, everything that is on display there are all bought for me

I expected they'd take the Dirge mold and change the wing detailing to more G1 like. I kinda wish I didn't already have the Takara versions. I didn't get Alert though, so there's still that.

Pretty much everything for Generations has been a must have. My wallet is going to weep this summer....

Now just need Repolabels to do a set to cover up the fire emblems and make a second Red Alert into G1 Breakdown.

The entire Generations line is amazing. Thrust looks excellent. WFC Soundwave has grown on me and will look good next to the Music Label one, Straxus is a badass, and WFC Megs looks ten times better than the classics one. I also think this picture of Red Alert looks a lot nicer than Hasbro's, posted a few days ago. All are must haves in my book.

Starfall wrote:Does anyone know when the WFC toys are gonna be released? I MUST have Soundwave.
News posted today that the first wave of Generations toys were popping up all over the US. I believe SW is in wave 3.

In the back right of the Straxus picture, you will see a blurred image of what looks to be the third mode you've been so eager to see.

I dunno. WFC Megatron doesn't suck, but I'm not overly impressed, either.

...You can have mine.

Mindmaster wrote:Oh my God, Dirge actually looks better than the Takara version. Other than that, everything that is on display there are all bought for me

I don't feel like looking Henkei Dirge's gallery, so I wouldn't know.

I just know that I'll be getting Gen Dirge when I see he's on pegs, just like I'm gonna get Thrust.

Oh man, sweet. I'm loving Dirge and Red Alert.

I'm liking Soundwave a little more, but I'm still unimpressed with his alt mode. Ah, who am I kidding, it's not like I WON'T buy him...

I agree.

He may have some meagerly cheap paint apps. But I still might buy this one...

I'll need another bot to fight WFC Bumblebee, anyway...

Posted by frogbat on June 26th, 2010 @ 1:01am CDT
these will be mine.... maybe even the war for cybertron ones - wasn't really too keen on the bee and prime but megatron's robot mode looks menacing and will definitely give universe galvatron a run for his money

not a big fan of repaints but i seem to have become a sucker for g1 insired repaints - red alert, dirge and thrust will hopefully make it nto my collection

i would really like to see 3rd party accessory makers release a null ray kit for universe starscream and perhaps a set with other guns for the rest of his crew cos the ones that come with these molds are a) all the same (and in most cases they look rather rubbish) Actually they had done an effort with ramjet's which are different as was the original toy's.

Dirge!!!! I am really happy about that.

Megatron's WFC Bot mode is fantastic. I have to get that sucker.

I already have the Henkei Dirge, Red Alert and Thrust and i still think they look better than Hasbro's, so no regrets there.

Dear Santa (Hasbro),

I have been really good this year lining your coffers with my hard earned money. What I would really like for christmas are Generations Blurr, Generations Jazz, Generations Shockwave, and if it's not too much trouble, TFA Omega Supreme.

Thank you

NOTE: I know they are doing a Drift repaint for Blurr with a new head sculpt, I'm just a little disappointed with that thought

Damn me. I hope that I wasnt able to go to Botcon for a good reason! Is Megatron in wave 2?
Re: Images of New Generations figures from Botcon (1090776)
Posted by Jelze Bunnycat on June 26th, 2010 @ 1:09pm CDT
Thrust, Dirge, you two are so mine! At least, if I had a Ramjet  Looks like the only expensive Seeker will be Thundercracker...

Red Alert I'm not too sold on, somehow the Henkei looked better to me. The War for Cybertron toys I'm skipping, maybe I'll just get Prime and Megs.

Already have Henkei Alert, but he's my fave character in G1 so who cares! I'm getting the Hasbro one too. No such thing as too many paranoid lambos. XD

That classic fast-talking 1986 Autobot is back, now as apart of the Generations toy line! Generations Blurr is a retool of Generations Drift, featuring new pistols and a sniper riffle! Blurr is slated for release around September, to view our photos of him from Botcon, click here!

Love him! I was worried he'd be a bit...monochrome with all the blue, but it looks like they've done a wonderful job getting the different hues to stand out.

OK.... now that I've seen some photos, I am sold. I know I was hoping for a new mold, but this will do just fine :APPLAUSE:

I'll admit I had my skepticisms about Blurr from Drift, but I can dig it. My fears have been put to rest, this is a must-buy (as most of Generations seems to be for me)

Maybe all that shoulder kibble works for Drift, but I wish there was a way to trim it down for Blurr. Either way, I am buying him on sight.
Re: Images of New Generations figures from Botcon (1090876)
Posted by Nekoman on June 26th, 2010 @ 6:05pm CDT
Blurr and Dirge are really impressive. I think Dirge is a unique and interesting variant that looks nothing like his Henkei and Botcon release. Likewise, Blurr is a real excellent reuse of the Drift mold, with some cool new weapons.
Re: Images of New Generations figures from Botcon (1090879)
Posted by PhantomPrime on June 26th, 2010 @ 6:28pm CDT
As soon as I see Jazz and Wheeljack in Classics format, I'll finish my collection of my favorite Autobots.

So far, it's Drift, Soundwave and Megatron that catch my attention. Blurr is cool, but not a definite buy.

Dirge and Blurr are definite gets for me. As for Megatron and Soundwave...I need to see them on pegs. If they were on pegs now and I cave in and buy them, it'll only be to be completist about the WFC line (as I do plan for Prime and Bumblebee). Aren't they including Shockwave in some versions of the game? I think I'd be more willing to buy him if he gets a new figure...
Re: Images of New Generations figures from Botcon (1090899)
Posted by alexison on June 26th, 2010 @ 8:55pm CDT
So now we have seen the entire Generations line, correct? Blurr looks really solid. My only negative is the doors on his side, but since they hold his saweeet pistols, i can manage. The head sculpt is spot on. Generations is a must have line fore me.
Re: Images of New Generations figures from Botcon (1090902)
Posted by Cyber Bishop on June 26th, 2010 @ 8:56pm CDT
WFC Soundwave is a MUST PURCHASE for me. I will get Dirge as he is closer to being accurate than the Botcon one is (BC one will return to his happy slumber in the box).

No, my friend, this is merely a drop in the ocean. Don't forget they need to include more Classic Voyagers and possibly Leaders (Like a Classic Leader Class Optimus Prime/Megatron). Expect more figures to come! :BOOM: =P~

I am pretty sure the Generations line was intended to be a deluxe class only line. But i agree, I would love to see some other classes thrown into the mix.

Anyhow, not really into non movie things but if there is some way Straxus can look movie-ish I may get him...

Blurr = meh I-)

I'll probably end up getting him at some point, but I think I'll stick with TFA Blurr as the official Blurr of my "Classics" collection. He's the only TFA fig I think can pull off the crossover.

TFA Arcee looks okay if she's standing next to Classics Bumblebee - Their heads are the same size and their colors are both quite bright, which is a big part of what makes her seem odd next to the others.
