I like the box art for the Alternity Convoy, as well as the new pictures. I can't wait for this thing to be released.

And does anyone else see flip out blades on Alternity Megatron's arms in the concept art?

Grimlock looks great as well. But where is his crown?

should i splash out £45 for that inferno fig, for just the comic book? im so confused!

might get grimlock in a few years, im not a G1 fan nor a Grimlock fan, ill pay for it when its cheeper or when ive seen it on reviews, im not pre ordering him, my olny masterpiece should only be megatron, if only dont do a soundwave, hound, inferno or a ironhide

Grimlock is just awesome! The more pics I see of him, the more I love it. I have 2 of him preordered from TFsource ever since they had him up. Both Alternity Convoys look great too, they're also on my preorder list. The cassettes are a must have. The only thing I'm not getting is Mickey.

Sorry to say that I personaly prefer Grimlock's sleeker Classics design over the standing tall and/or wide G1 and Animated looks, so this masterpiece isn't going to help get me into that line any more than the previous masterpiece figures did. Alternity looks to have just as much foreboding as it's predecessor line, thusly I am not very enthused. As for the Henkei figs... I'd be more interested if I could see pictures with some majorly notable differences from the American counterparts, like DOES HOT SHOT COME WITH THOSE COOL ASS GUNS OR NOT?!

Still can't bring myself to like those Chrono Labels. They're a disgrace to Kronoformers. You'd be better off kitbashing a watch into Meantime or Midnighter.

The other stuff looks great though.

I've read that because the went the sword route, they're dropping the gun. It was originally planned-thus the image of it-but ain't happening now-thus the fact that we've never actually seen it. It's going to be a big let down if it's true.

He will never be cheaper. Masterpiece figures don't decrease in value. If you're lucky Grimmy will maintain his value. If you're unlucky he will shoot up to $200 or more. Holding out for a price drop on a Masterpiece is a waste of time. Sceptical or disinterested is one thing bargain hunting is another.

Don't know about the secondary market but at point of sale Ultra Magnus and Starscream have had their prices slashed.

True, but Ultra Magnus and Starscream were both heavily criticized when they were originally released. Unless MP Grimmy has major QA issues, I don't see his value decreasing.

It looks like Takara is all set to go with MP Grimlock. I want an early release.

What's up with Henkei Ratchet though? He's been delayed a couple times and he's been presented with two different gun colors - chrome & black.

At least he's been "officially" announced, in the form of a sillouette in Cyclonus' mini-manga.

Yup. I just got an Starscream MP figure for only US$ 49. Once the demand from collectors is satisfied, prices drop.

If you're referring to the Hasbro/US release, wasn't that his original cost?

If it was the gray one and someone let it go at that price, you did get a deal.

Long term prices for Transformers do not drop. They even out, they occasionally dip, but they always trend upwards.
