...C-12 Cheetor and C-13 Hound.

Kapow Toys- This news comes from toy distributor KAPOW toys who says this is the information his whole saler sent to him.

Exciting news yes, but bad news also, because for anyone who has a really good memory (or checks their pre-orders), Henkei Ratchet was supposed to be C-12. No word on how this will effect his future yet.

These two bots are scheduled for release on or around December 27th, the same time as Encores Trailbreaker and Hoist. Expect pre-order information to follow shortly.

Maybe Cheetor will have chrome on his butt. Whatever they decide i am disappointed to see Ratchet got pushed back in favour of a BW character.

When was Encore Trailbreaker announced?!? The release of Henkei Cheetor and Hound were inevitable, but the news of TB is GREAT news indeed! Now all I need are Mirage (I refuse to get a bootleg version of him), Sunstreaker, and Wheeljack!

Talk about good news!

I'm waiting on Cyclonus, though. I'm not too impressed with Hasbro's colouring.

Are you guys forgetting that the Henkei storyline is not in the same continuity as the Japanese G1 storyline?

If they want to put Cheetor in, they can. He most likely won't be the same guy from the Beast Era.

There has been no official announcement on a US version, I was talking about Henkei Ratchet. He was supposed to be out in Nov/Dec, now he's due 1st quarter, '09.

I would bet that US Ratchet ends up as a Special Edition release at the least.

Henkei Ratchet was delayed until January 25th. Binaltech Convoy was also slated to bereleased at that time.

However. He's listed two. It doesn't mean their will be only two. This month we get Henkei Streak, Lambor and Octane. Next month we get Henkei Ironhide and Galvatron.

December we should get more then two with all the releases that are coming out.

Is that thumbnail photo the preview of Henkei Hound? Or just photoshop?

If Hound's chest is chromed up like the thumbnail (or call it avatar?), then that means the rest of his feet should be chromed too. To give a uniform chromed jeep.

This is gonna be one hell of a chrome job.

If Cheetor is Henkei C-12 them my collection is going to pass from Henkei C-11 to Henkei C-13. I only have one problem i have some payed pre-orders for C-12 Ratchet, what will happen now?
I believe Cheetor is a bad choice nothing against BW but this realese has nothing to do whit G1 inspiaring realeses of the Henkei line, was expection Smokescreen or Cyclonus.

Unless the store you preordered from is stupid, they'll just change the info for ratchet and it'll be delayed. You should, however, contact the store to make certain that it changes appropriately.

Well, I can wait for Ratchet... Not that big of a deal.
I'll have to see Hound before I decide.

And my question is, how many BW fans even want Henkei versions of those figures anyway????

Couldn't care less about Cheetor as I'm only really into collecting G1 characters but good to see Hound getting a release date. The chrome should look sweet on him.

I suppose Rathcet will end up being C-14 when he's released in January. I'm still patiently waiting on a Henkei release of Cliffjumper and I guess we should expect Henkei Cyclonus early next year too

The thumbnail is a picture from TF08, it's not the Henkei version.

I'm guessing that H-Hound will have chrome on the missle, and the front bumper. If Ravage still comes with him then I would guess they will chrome the missles that are molded onto him.

Odd, given that a lot of the Beast Wars reissues here in Japan ended up as shelf-warmers (although it was the less popular characters like Wolfang and 2/3 Tripredacus)

It's a relief if Hound won't be all chromed up. But still, the sight of a chromed missile don't suit my taste. Ravage chromed rockets is acceptable.

Anyway, everybody's talking about Henkei Ratchet. I have some comment about him. Is there such a thing as a compact or midsize SUV ambulance? I never seen one yet. Is there such a thing in other countries?

Mostly, i see converted vans. Like the G1 version.
