First 4 Figures has sent us a Press Release dealing with the Super-Deformed Ultra Magnus statue:

First 4 Figures is proud to be presenting the SD Ultra Magnus Statue, based off the â€œSD Transformers Statue contestâ€ winning entry from XuWei aka Iron Bird. The contest was held over the summer by TFW2005.com with the winners decided on by a poll on the F4F website. All entries to the contest can be seen here:

As a result, we are turning XuWeiâ€™s SD Ultra Magnus into a 5 inch statue, slated to be released in Q1 2006. We are excited to announce that we have partnered with both Action Figure Express and Gear 4 Games for the US and UK respectively to distribute the statues. Each will have 500 pieces in their territories. Total run is strictly limited to 1,000 worldwide. They are currently taking pre-orders at the moment.

In addition to this, we will be releasing a F4F highly exclusive version of 100 pieces of Ultra Magnus in the colors of the original Powered Convoy from the Diaclone line. Be sure to place your order quickly as low numbers come on a first come first serve basis. This will be up for pre-orders on the 14th Dec, 2005.

We also will be releasing a digital print of the Top 10 entrants of the â€œSD Transformers Statue contestâ€. This will go up for pre-order for on the 14th t Dec, 2005 too.
