I can't remember the last time I saw a Transformers commercial on TV, but my kids saw a commercial for these on Nickelodeon while visiting their grandparents sometime this past weekend. Now my daughter wants them, and both my kids asked why I never mentioned these...(do I have to explain ) . I really would prefer her not to waste her money on these, but then I remember - she is NOT a collector like I am, she will likely purchase only a couple, and then move on to something else. The obsessive need to *collect them all* is not what she is about, which is a good thing.

Doesnt look like any of these use the rub feature that some of Wave 2 are supposed to have. Some of these look great. Not really tried to collect wave 1 or just the ones that stand out to me, im too lazy for the blind bag thing or buy set A, B, 9, C+ to get a full set.

My only caution is to not let a perfect opportunity for some daddy-daughter time go by if she is intent on getting a few of them anyway. It may even spark some interest in your other TF's on her end.

They also happen to be some of the most fun I've had recently when playing around with my collection because my youngest wants to spend time with me. She makes us both put on some deodorant (Nobeeoh is her favorite). We play around together for a bit, followed by more deodorant. Then she starts doing her own thing for a while and so do I, then more deodorant. Then we start playing together again, and she gives all my combiners an application of deodorant. You get the idea.

I think the closest any official fiction gets to naming a leader is to say that Professor Wellread (the book from the Backpack Bunch) thinks he's the smartest and should therefore be in charge, but in reality the only book he's ever read is himself. There was also a suggestion (although I don't think it was from an official source) that Burgertron might have Primus Apotheosis. Either way, it's all for fun, and their social structures are much less formal than the "big" Transformers.

Anyway, very excited for these. My son is a big Grossery Gang fan, so the Spoiled Rottens will probably be on his want list. Gotta say, that broken can with the fish head poking out is... something else. Not a whole lot of Transformers that turn into carcasses.

PotP Optimal Optimus is great for Botbots. He’s got the perfect hands.

I prefer G2 Primus because he can hold most of the items. The old leader class was pretty decent but most of them can't actually hold the items which is a slight downer for me. PotP Primal works well too.



Sadly, the botbots are all a little to big to work with the one bot with a designed throat and stomach compartment. That would have been epic.

Most of them are, but there are a few who work, like Lolly Licks.

It's always fun to get the codes to blindbox style collectables just so we are sure not to have duplicates, or to just get the one you want.

Blackai, a toy blog, got their hands on a whole set and have provided the codes along with images of each botbot. Most are redecos/slight retools from the previous series though it does make sense for a few, like a mustard bottle to match the ketchup bottle. There are new molds, and for those we have also included the image of the alt mode. Of cour you can view all images on the blog. Please not that for two of them, it is unsure if the code is 12 or 21.

I love these way more then I realistically should.

There's a refreshing purity to the overall silliness of it. Plus it's something my kids and I can all enjoy. Over the process of collecting specific figures, we ended up getting all of the Series 1 'Bots without even realizing it.

I thought I would love the pizza bot but it turns out it's one of my least favourite. It has 2 nice modes but the issue is that the alt mode detail we see in robot mode is faked and his arms have a tendancy to pop off.

While Australia may have just gotten series 1 of Botbots, series 2 was right on its heels. The series 2 Shed Head 5 pack was found at Toyworld, a specialty retailer. TF fan Fasttrack posted his sighting along with in hand images of these new Botbots on the TFW2005 boards. Most of the pack is redecos of series 1 Botbots. Fasttrack also posted an image of the checklist that comes with the pack which shows the entirety of series 2.

The Botbots in the purchased 5 pack were Love Struck, Tool Bag, Brotato, Drillit Yaself, and Bottocorect.

Went to the Toyworld in Sunbury today and found the 5 pack assortments for Series 2 of Botbots

I spotted these at a local Wlamart in Colonial Heights, VA.

Is Bottocorrect's bottle cap/weapon a separate piece like Hamurai's sword?

They're here! BotBots fans in the US can now rejoice as series 2 has begun trickling in. Fellow Seibertronian Terrsolpix has brought us our first sighting of a wave 2 5 pack found at Target in Hillsdale, San Jose, California for $9.99. These are scheduled for a 4/1/2019 release so they appear to be right on target for retail saturation.
