It seems that we've lost quite a few of the old Alt modes, all of the Seacons, the TM Terrorsaur, the Tie Fighter..... my guess is those were replaced by newer Alts and that the only way they'll come back is when people start complaining that the current set of Alt.s is too boring

I figured they were just removed/replaced to keep the over-all number of Alt.s down.

Would there be anyreason to do that?
Is it something like weapons where every alt has to be counted/tracked and therfor is a drain on the server??

I really have no idea, just spit-ballin'

I figured the rarer alts (as BB mentioned) would be kept as prizes or special occasion bonus' etc. A pretty good idea i suppose.

Gutted the Tie Fighters not at all though. C'est la vie...

aw nuts, half my team got retired.... and my unique alt got returned, hope no one else picks it.

I'm very said the cons lost the lego tank. but at least it's still in the database like the Falcon, and Tie fighter are. so it's not a total loss

when how often did we deceide the alt rototator should turn?

Every two weeks AFAIK.

And remind me, are we keeping our alts when the game gets reset?

Want to know whether I should start a Maximal upgrade for my team while we have so many Land Animals.

My team's getting either a Maximal upgrade or a Micromaster 'upgrade' for v2 if I keep playing.

no word what so ever has been given on the alts, we aren't even guaranteed to keep any aspect of our teams what so ever, though OS has said she will try to keep our names.

if i continue playing, i'm moving onto the second set of my characters and killing off my current team.

I asked OS aboutthat but not heard back about it. Would be nice to have that sort of option.

I believe one of Glyph's aims related to it, but it was discussed before we lost all the old posts, so unless someone conveniently has a copy we can't look it it up. Hopefully OS will be able to give us an answer at some point.

Well, that clenches it. If I stick with this my team's getting a Maximal upgrade.

Hope I can still get/keep Cruellock's dragon alt.

Though I guess it wouldn't be wholly unreasonable for him to become a raptor or T-rex for a while.

I'll have to get someone to make an alt gif of Vox's grey parrot/ring-tailed lemur fuzor beast mode... :-?
