As a guess, Id expect the difference to be in faction badge only, there may have been no beast wars cars but there were plenty of G1 animals.

So on this here master list, where is this alternate mode?

With it no longer on that master list, wouldn't that make it the rarest of them all?

Right that list ONLY shows alts assighned to your faction, NOT every alt mode in existence.

basically the lego tank is a retired altmode, it isn't on the alt rotator.

think of like this, we have 3 types of alt modes
Retired; not currently on alt rotator
active; on alt rotator, but not selectable at present
available; the alt is on the rotator and can be selected for use at the present

which is a damn shame the white lego tank is a classic decepticon alt mode!

will Tyrant Dragon and/or Ice Dragon be available after reset? I want a real Dragon, not some snapdragon crap XD

and Ice Dragon is obviously Cryotek, TM2 Megs = fire Dragon?

the tyrant dragon (), and Ice dragon () are active Decepticon altmodes, they may become available as as the rotator rotates.

Quick Question. Was the WWI Jetfire inserted? possibly to the wrong (Decepticon) list?

there is no concept of an alt being on the wrong list, several alts that have never had an autobot/decepticon character appear on the autobot/decepticon lists

which alt is the WWI jetfire one, not everyone can recognise alts, even if you think they look obvious (G1 galvatron alt = fish alt)

I ahve a question about the alts...why si the Cryotek/TM2 Megatron a land animal? Being a winged dragon i would think he'd be an air animal or Creature. And since we only have the Sharkticon and the normal Crab as Sea Creatures, why not make BW Rampage/Shokaract a Sea Creature instead of an arachnid? We have several Arachnids already and only 2 Sea Creatures.

IIRC TM2 megs spent more time on the ground than in the air so it kind makes sense that the alt is land based.

And yeah, more sea creatures would be nice but i'd rather have the Seacons back

not to mention my 'Dactyl Alt.

Not really; they showed him flying several times in the last four episodes of Beast Wars, at least once.

Short answer - Blame Mkall. (Though it might be easier to blame Glyph as i'm sure there was a new class made up for land/air animals like dragons)

Once OS sorts out his plans for tactics there'll no doubt be a big shake up in alt modes for the next version. Basically a better (ie, logical) definition for classes and to make sure the alts are classed depending on the characteristics on what they were originally based on.
