That's not really the issue here, after all scrapper is in the titan devestator set. Hasbro just wanted to add a new character and a bit of diversity to the wave

That's exactly what I assume Hasbro is doing, too. They wouldn't want to have a toy and it's repaint in the same wave. Assuming Hasbro eventually releases Slingshot... why get so worked up about it.

Well, I'm going to wait on combiner wars comics, if Alpha Bravo turns out to be a fun new character that I like, I'll definitely pick him up. If he's just sorta there, I'll wait on Hasbro's Slingshot

Yes. Though if I were to get technical, I collect based on the G1 comics. I'd rather have 2 of either Skydive or Fireflight than get a helicopter with a team of jets. 8-}

I have no issues with new members taking the place of old members as long as it has a valid reason.

For example the Prowl controlled Devastator TORE SUPERION IN HALF!!! since slingshot was in critical condition, Alpha Bravo and Powerglide volunteered to become replacement members in the event slingshot can't be saved. thus, bravo gets a figure.

In the case of Defensor, scale was the issue here. #-o

Offroad needs no excuse, he is awesome :grin:

No suxing to VA'L but I'll reiterate, A-B is a good mold. He'll be my 6th Aerialbot once UW Superion arrives.

In G1, Six-wing also had a black copter as part of the team. My version was the "Destron" version so I'm not sure what was the color of the Cybertron iteration of him.

If we are all wondering about what A-B is in IDW, I expect he's a master criminal ala Lex Luthor pretending to be an ally. Just like Flipsides.
