That's what I assumed. Maybe one of the Cave Rats in Morrowind. There are far stranger ones, like the flying Eel and Ostrich.

I knew there was other more egregiously misplaced ones; I only remembered that one specifically because it affected me directly.

I could give you a list... and keep editing when I see more rounds of rotated alts for the maximals.

- Golden Orb Spider ...dangerous land animal? Don't think so. Maybe Fast Insect.
- (already stated)Rat as a ferocious land animal... :lol:

- Starfish as a Helpful Land Animal, should be Helpful Sea Creature.
- (already stated)Airhammer alt listed as light assault vehicle...
- Why is my old Pudge alt listed as a Nimble Land Animal? Don't recall a brontosaurus being NIMBLE.
- Slifer the Sky Dragon is Noble, but not a Land Animal. @_@
- The alt listed as a "Gecko" is an Iguana... *facepalm*

I'm fairly sure someone has found and pointed out most of the malfunctioning alts by now. I, for one, have found the rare Predator alt won't display a picture. Its one of the land animals, looks like a jaguar, cheetah, whathaveyou.

My real question, though, is what sort of timetable we're looking at til these alts are up and running? Should I keep my rare alt and just wait for the day the icon magically starts showing up? Or should I ditch it in favor of an alt I can actually see for the time being?

Are we looking at a few days/weeks? Or several months?

(Either way, you guys are all doing a great job, and these problems are trivial at best)
