Alt mode question?

okay i found out that the alt mode changes every 3 days or so not too sure but i want to know how long does it take for the alt mode to coem back again so spaceship goes away after 3 days when will it next come back? thanks for reading and if there is a proper awnser area can u point it out to me. ok and also whats the minicon link do and what to do or is it going to be a new feature sorry im a noob

Depends on what the space ship was. Common it'll probably be back with the next rotation, rare, could take a couple of weeks.

Minicons were removed from the game a while ago because they broke the game play. V2 will have them back at some point as I understand.

Not sure the exact times as they vary by alt class, but core altmodes take either 9 or 12 days to rotate through, commons about double that and for rares double that again. (Ish.)

The Minicons are gone, Muderplex ate them all. They'll return in HMW2:Murderplex gets the Munchies, due on all good desktops (and some Mac's) this summer.

Um.... "Core" alt-modes don't rotate; they are always there. That's why they are "core".

Actully you'll find that "Core" ones DO rotate but the chances of them appearing are higher than others, and they also rotate less often.

So it probably APPEARS they don't rotate, but they do. Just not at the rate of the others.

Plus there's a LOT of Core alts out there.

Since this is an alt mode question thread, I have one. Do the autobots have any helpful air animal or opportunistic whatever alt modes in the rotation? I've been wanting to build one of the avoid/repair alts but I never see any and was wondering.

I think you have repairer spaceships, as noodlz has Cosmos set up as a repairer.

Beyond that I couldnt tell you. Does you alt list come up if you check this link, or do you get the 'cons list as well as everyone else? :lol:

It is the same link as I posted above. It just shows the Autobots. I believe it is linked to whatever faction you are in the game.

thanks a lot everyone you lot are a great help just gonna be looknig out for the rare modes now :D also another question erm why do some alt modes say core common and rare is it how many people choose them also what is the significance of choosing a rare or common or core.

It all has to do with rotation. Rare will be seen the least while core will be seen the most. Commons are in the middle. I don't know the frequency on how fast they appear though.

Its about 3-weeks to a month for a rare but the rotation system is being dropped completely for the new game.

Didn't think there was but I couldn't remember where the master 'bot list was. Thanks for the linkage. I know the lists are set and we're on the verge of HMW2 but any chance of getting something like a helpful car mode, ala wheeljack, with avoid as the main stat and repair as secondary? I'm not holding my breath but it never hurts to ask.

At this stage there won't be any changes made to the current version. But as Psychout said, once HMW2 rolls out you won't care about the lack of alts to choose from.

Sorry RKO, I was looking for something that I can make work at lower levels.

The pre-reset rescue vehicle worked better as the tactic values were switched and you could avoid at lower levels then as you progressed repair would make up for the lessened value of avoid at high levels. It was one of my favorite alts before the change-over.

What level are you, cuase I've found (with enough oposition, and a few allies using end) cheap effective medics are actully quite possible, at least at level 2.
